Enchanted supports Ollama API and all ecosystem models. It is necessary to have a running Ollama server to use this app and specify the server endpoint in app settings. Enchanted supports streaming and latest Chat API with conversation context. You can quickly switch between your models to test your prompts. Enchanted supports Markdown, therefore tables, lists and code will be nicely formatted. I would love to see Enchanted: - Support keyboard shortcuts on the iPad (CMD-N; CMD-,; etc.). - Allow for multiple end-points to switch between different models. This would allow switching between devices (different IP addresses) and models (ports, for example different RAG servers on one device). - Sync chat history using iCloud (iPad, Mac, iPhone all with the same chat history). - Better behavior when screen locks on iPhone/iPad (not just throwing a raw network error). I finally found this and it just works great. The only changes I would want would for the app the handle “thinking” models better and for support for function calls. I still want to start out by saying that for what it is this is an outstanding app. By all means if you’re running Ollama you definitely need to check it out. However. I have been having an issue since day one where the app will crash if you upload an image or file that’s too large. I haven’t figured out what the maximum is, but I do know that through other UI’s such as Open WebUI this isn’t an issue. So the problem is with the app, not the backend. The biggest show stopper for me is that there is no cross device syncing. How can such a beautifully crafted Apple exclusive app not have at-least iCloud syncing? Though something like WebDAV would be preferred tbh.
