Using it but….
I’m using it, but I think it needs quite a bit of improvement. I’m using with my ipad pro. Firstly, articles that I download and view in the app, I can’t select any text. That’s really annoying and defeats the purpose a bit. I need to be able to copy paste from the files. The sort function doesn’t work, which particularly annoying, because I have to either do a search, or kind of remember how far down it was where I saved it. But the most annoying thing is that you can’t create a reference list from the app. You have to go to the online site. So yeah, I’m using it, but mostly so that I have my references in one place. But I really wish it were better or there was a better solution out there. Doesn’t have to be Endnote
Endnote crashes
Since I downloaded IOS 7 my Endnote crashes each time I add a new article or if I try to edit an old one. There does not appear to be an update for this. I've enjoyed using Endnote but have now stopped as a result of this problem, and really cannot recommend it.
Will not sync reliably with Endnote for PC
After syncing 100 of my 3000+ references it reported "an unknown error occurred". The knowledge base was not helpful in resolving the problem. Without reliable sync the app is effectively useless. So a waste of money.
Rubbish
Does not import from the internet correctly e.g. APA has brackets around the year of publication!!!
Easily confused when the issue is not a number i.e. "special 10th anniversary edition"
Do not buy for ipad!
Not quite there
Add a built in search for limbed and other databases rather than doing it in a web browser and it'd be pretty much perfect.
