When I opened this app I was forced to agree to my data being used for tailored adverts in order to access content I paid for. This is illegal in the UK / Europe under GDPR. I uninstalled the app, but Apple should remove it from the App Store until it complies with GDPR.

Love the Epoch Times reporting in general. They’re proper journalists. However when I load their app I’m presented with a privacy policy screen and am unable to click the accept button, which means I can’t use the app at all.

If you don’t agree to allow the app to track your behaviour across apps it will not work. 
   It’s sad that a name as reputable as Epoch Times (which bangs on about freedom of speech and has ties with NTD who constantly highlight how oppressive the CCP is and how it constantly tracks its citizens) disabled it’s app if you don’t allow it to track your behaviour across apps.
 
   It doesn’t even allow you to agree to cookie tracking within the app, the loading page will freeze and won’t allow you to do anything until you go into settings and activate cross tracking. 
  It’s the first app I have used where I have encountered this behaviour including the more ‘aggressive’ social media apps which happily work with cross app tracking disabled.
   Until the Epoch Times app upholds the Epoch times alleged respect and defended of privacy I will have no option but to uninstall it.
