## Equinex Description
The app for horse people — on the trail and in the barn.

RIDE WITH CONFIDENCE
• GPS ride tracking: distance, speed, elevation, and your route on the map
• Automatic fall detection — if you come off and don't respond, Equinex can alert your emergency contact with your location by text message
• Live ride sharing: family sees where you are, and gets notified when you head out and when you're safely done
• Group rides: ride together and see each other on the map

BUILD YOUR TRAIL LIBRARY
• Save any ride as a trail and retrace it turn by turn
• See trails near your current location on the map
• Tag trails (favorite, easy, difficult — or your own tags) and filter your library
• Share one trail or a whole set with one link — friends import them in a tap
• Import GPX/KML trail files into your library

RUN THE BARN
• Horse profiles with medical history, feeding, and deworming records
• Vet and farrier appointments with smart reminders
• Tasks and care routines for everyone at the barn
• Invite family members or barn staff to collaborate

ASK THE AI
• Photo analysis and chat that knows your horse's history — not generic advice
• Body condition scoring from photos

Everything syncs securely across your devices. Download free — upgrade when you're ready. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled.

## Equinex Reviews in United States

### *---- "The worst AI equine app on the market"
Frankly, there are much better digital tools and even traditional methods of simple bookkeeping that perform way better than this. The app does not sync well between devices, fails to retain necessary data, and won't let you edit things properly on an iPhone. If you use an Android device on the exact same account, it refuses to sync, forcing you to upgrade just to get basic functionality. It simply does not work well, and it is honestly not worth the $25 a month.

### ***** "Amazing App…highly recommend!"
My friend Sheri and I installed this app this week and tested it out today. All I can say is wow!!!! What an amazing app, we tested the fall feature to see how it worked. We dropped her phone and she requested help and it texted me telling me she needed help and it showed me her location on my phone. This is a 100 % awesome feature!!!
The details it gave me about my ride and my mare, are extremely impressive.
Sheri had issues with getting my phone number in the emergency contact and the support she got was extremely responsive and great. 👍🏻
I highly recommend this to everyone, I have just the free version right now but will definitely upgrade to the paid one!
Awesome job EquiNex 👏🐎

### ***** "Love it!"
I recently downloaded this app out of curiosity. I have been using another app for years and decided to try out Equinex. Not only did it track our ride, it gave an audible summary of the type of work out and how/why it benefited the horse. I'm still learning about all the features. So far very impressed!!! Oh and customer service is amazing, I received an almost immediate response and resolution to an issue. We tested the fall detection today and that was amazing!!! It's like a gps tracker, Fitbit, Apple Watch, Google AI, find my phone and SOS all in one app! For someone who rides in a group or alone this is a must have !

### ***** "Surprised"
I didn’t think it would give me so much information! I get information about every ride plus an evaluation of my horse, feed and each ride itself
-- Mabton Nana, 2026-08-17

### ***** "This app is a GAME CHANGER!!"
Equinex is the best thing to have happened to the horse world in a long time. Knowing that I can track my trails, I have fall detection, connection with my emergency contacts, an easy way to track my horse’s health, and more, all in ONE app is mind blowing!! If you want to spend less time worrying and more time riding, Equinex is for you.

### ***** "Finally!! Love this app!"
This app is SO HELPFUL! I love that it keeps track of the farrier, the vet, supplements, etc. My husband appreciates being notified of my trail rides so if something goes wrong he can find me. Peace of mind is priceless!
-- Mckellarmom, 2026-08-12

### *---- "Don’t bother"
They advertise fall detection, but you have to pay a bunch of money to get that.
-- JazzyCamel, 2026-06-04

### ***** "Love, but some suggestions"
I really like this app, but there are a few suggestions. For one, I would add a gallery option. That way I can keep a collection of photos and videos from rides in, etc. You should be able to caption and put descriptions. My only other thing is, I understand that having multiple horses should cost money, however, I do think that the AI image analyzer should be unlimited. Of course, I understand if you cannot do that, but it would probably get your cons users.
-- Luna and Lickey, 2026-05-20

### *---- "Very disappointing app."
Tracking a ride barely works, and the app feels confusing. When I try to track my ride, it does not behave reliably. Sharing with someone else is even worse, it hangs, freezes, and feels slow. There are a lot of features on the app that are not implemented properly and comes across like it was hastily slapped together.
-- SleepQuietUser, 2026-04-19

### ***** "Revolutionary"
I came for the ride tracking, stayed for the barn / horse management system. SO much more convenient than all the notes, spreadsheets, and whiteboards and calendars I was using before
