Great app
I love this app. I’ve been rowing for years. Finally I don’t have to carry a paper logbook around. Little things like duplicating with the health app on the Apple Watch are no big deal (who cares anyway, wearable trackers are crap) and I really like it that the new version will update my rower’s firmware via bluetooth. Just don’t do it when you only have a short time window in which to work out- I had to delay this morning’s workout because the update took half of my available time. I’m looking forward to the rowing challenges being accessible within the app in a future version Good stuff
Some workouts dont log after you finish
Did some intervals, when I finish, I already try many ways tô stop and dont lose my training, like stop in the app or in the monitor - dindt work
Frequent disconnects are seriously frustrating
The app itself is pretty useful. However, about 1/2 the time it disconnects from PM5 mid workout losing all my progress. Soooo frustrating!!!
Randomly stopped saving to the logbook
The app is almost useless because no new data will be saved. Using the latest firmware on a PM5. At least the data is saved into the PM5 so a future fix (maybe next year???) will make this app start saving to the logbook.
Also there does not seem to be a way to export data from the PM5 manually with this app. Seems like a huge missing feature...
Health tracking
Was a tower in high school, but since then it was difficult to plan good rowing workouts. This apps WOD is great and it sends it right to the erg. Never had connectivity issues with a PM5 monitor. Apple health integration was OK, but they’ve now squashed all the bugs and it’s flawless. Keep up the good work!
Worst possible glitch to have in a fitness app.
The app forgets my meters. Sometimes it just doesn’t save them. Today I set up the app to do 17k, I only did 14k, but when I pressed menu on my erg the app didn’t count my 14k as a workout, so I lost those meters and will never get them back, just an hour of work gone. It does this often and I have probably lost 30k worth of meters from this.
App doesn’t save workout most times.
This app almost always fails to save the workout data now. After hitting view results, the spinning circle acts like it’s loading for thirty seconds and then just resets to the main menu, no workout data to be found.
I’ve had to manually upload most of my workouts the past month now. This causes you to lose much of the data that the app is supposed to record.
If you don’t mind losing all your workout data after each workout then this is the app for you.
Pretty Good
When I got my RowErg, I was worried about the seeming lack of integration with Apple Watch and Apple Health. I was very pleasantly surprised. All my workouts are recorded in both Concept2’s log and in the Apple ecosystem. This app records a lot of other data that will be useful to serious rowers. If you’re worried about problems with Apple integration, worry no more. Get your RowErg, row, and be happy.
Not reliable
Generally a good app with good features, but unfortunately fails in the single most important function this app should do - reliable logging workouts to your online log if. Most of the times the app fails doing so and you need then sync manually via a USB stick and computer.
What happened to the old app?
What the heck the old app was perfect Simple functional and reliable what is this?!?! I don’t want this!!!
