## ErgRace Online Description
ErgRace Online allows people anywhere in the world to take part in organized online races on Concept2 ergs. 
 
Athletes need the app, a PM5 and the code for the competition provided by the race organizer. 
 
To organize a competition, please go to concept2.com/ergraceonline.

System Requirements
 
ErgRace Online does not support racing with PM3 or PM4s. Please make sure your PM5 is updated with the latest firmware.
 
There is a short test race that runs automatically every 10 minutes. We recommend joining this well before your first race. This will allow you to make sure your system is able to take part in ErgRace Online as well as making you familiar with how it works.

I’ve done numerous races through Live2Row and FoolsFestSprints on ErgRace. The first few we did were great. It’s awesome being able to see your opponents while racing. Frustratingly, 3 out of the last 4 races I’ve been registered for through ErgRace have not been successful. The app “freezes” l for the race coordinator and it never starts. This has led to Live2Row to move to ErgZone for its monthly races and I wouldn’t be surprised if FoolsFestSprints has to look into alternate software as well. Very frustrating

It would be nice if you were able to see more info during the race. It would be helpful to see meters and avg. split at the same time. Maybe projected finish.

It’s great to be able to join people around the world for some friendly competition and exercise..   was very simple to use once signed in .  Sign up for a race and be ready about 2 minutes before race time .

Direction from Concept2 is that you can ‘test’ doing a race before your actual race so you can ensure software works and you understand the app before participating.  I’ve tried several times but you wait and wait to be added to a ‘test’ race but there are none.  Very concerned to be heading into a race where I don’t even know if the app works!!
