Some of the settings just don’t work. I try turning off breaking news alerts in the settings, it just turns itself back on in a second. Super annoying. I don’t want news alerts for sports I don’t watch. Same with settings related to some of the teams I follow. The app is simply unwilling to stick with my preferences!

The app is good. Scores and news are always updated and crisp in content. However, the app is missing a major feature of Live Activities. All sports action in one app plus the live activities, if implemented…the app is a killer.

I have been using this app for primarily football news for many years. It was always a decent app, but recently in the past few months, have noticed the app is crashing and has become glitchy. 

For example, now for some reason, when u open the app it does not show your favourites even though you are logged in. I noticed this when I went to the settings to check my preferences. When there, the app refreshed the preferences and then on the homepage began showing my favourites. This has now been happening repeatedly for the past 1 month. I even deleted the app getting frustrated. Cuz the preferences refresh also takes too long even though am on my 500mbps speed WiFi.

About the content. Firstly, since the last one year or so I have noticed that ESPN has far more content of football on YouTube then on the app. What’s the use of the app then? Secondly, the app is unable to collect all relevant content together, it’s so scattered across the homepage! For example, if I click on a video, the app used to earlier make a decent playlist of all other relevant videos which I could then see back to back. Now those relevant videos don’t even come up on the playlist.

Poor show ESPN!!!!

Favourites news doesn’t come first anymore these days. Not a world class app more of a nuisance. Incompetency and arrogance at its worst...

No matter what sport you follow and set favourite teams. The news feed is filled with US NFL or NBA or others games and feeds. Don’t know why this app even asks to select interested leagues and teams. Please remove all news feed and scores of US basketball of user isn’t interested.
