## ESS App Reviews in United Kingdom

### *---- "App not working. Absolutely zero customer service"
If possible, do everything you can to avoid this ESS app and the teya online payments.

Had to switch my expired payment card in the app at the beginning of August 24 and it’s not worked since.

First emailed customer services on the 7th of August. No reply. Have lost count of how many times I’ve tried contacting them since, no reply every time.

Have done all the usual, remove card, log out, re-add etc. still no joy nearly two months later and zero contact.

They should be embarrassed to have a department called ‘customer service’.
-- JamesGrf, 2024-09-26

### *---- "Overcharged and ignored"
Do not download this app… 2 months ago now I noticed I had been charged for other peoples orders amounting to £20. Contacted the help centre and to this day I have been ignored. Even contacted their enquiries email and still no response!
-- RoseLeonard12345, 2024-08-08

### ***** "Reliable payment/reward app"
I use it every day. Reliable, functional, quick. Who needs more?
-- Robine F, 2024-06-12

### ***-- "Apple wallet not working plus no Apple Pay"
I tried adding my loyalty card to my wallet as the app indicates you can, but it doesn’t work.
In addition there should be an Apple Pay option instead of adding credit card details.
-- Gigachadoriginal, 2023-10-04

### *---- "iOS 17 brings the app to a halt"
Since updating to iOS 17 the app has logged me out, telling me to update to iOS 17… latest update lets me back into my account, but all my freebies have vanished, along with all my details…😡
-- Parners, 2023-09-22

### *---- "Logged out"
Unable to use as been logged out for security reasons. What I do it says logged out for security reasons. Points and vouchers unable to use.
-- MikeyScott, 2023-09-21

### **--- "Security issue"
Hi,

I have been locked out of the app with an error statement saying ‘ you have been logged out for security reasons’ I can’t access the account, I’ve tried reinstalling it but no luck, can somebody help please?
-- Essex Welderman1, 2023-09-21

### *---- "Bricked by update"
No longer works at all. ‘Logged out for security reasons’ for days now with no fix.
-- Niall2001, 2023-09-21

### *---- "Not working"
Since update to IOS 17 I haven’t been able to login. Keep getting error messages as others have mentioned. I Will be losing rewards in next few days
-- ADJM73, 2023-09-21

### *---- "iOS 17/Update not working"
The ESS app is displaying a prompt to update but it’s not authenticating the user’s credentials. App not working! Please sort out urgently.
