## EVDot Description
The EV Dot charging network is owned and operated by BMM Networks. We have partnered with Clenergy EV to develop and build an interoperable, roaming based EV Charging network for the UK and beyond.
Access to the charge points is through a mobile App or RFID card
It's also possible to register an existing RFID to the App and this needs to be completed at an EV Dot Charging Station

## EVDot Reviews in United Kingdom

### *---- "Thieves"
Avoid avoid avoid - their chargers are out of date and simplistic and they take your money and don’t work
-- Bucky 9999, 2026-05-23

### *---- "Painful Registration"
A slow and painful registration process. Why is this not a simple contactless payment? Why do you need to harvest all my personal data and force me to agree a privacy statement?
-- headscratch, 2026-05-03

### *---- "Useless awkward app"
Painful to join up . Didn’t connect after several attempts. The worst experience of the morning if not the week trying to get into this and charging . Need a consolidation of providers and Apps. I use Zappmap but they must have realised how useless this lot are
-- pgb266, 2026-04-22

### *---- "Terrible app!"
Impossible to create an account as it never sends the details and when you log in as a guest it doesn’t accept credit card details.
-- TheRealFamousAfroJay, 2026-02-24

### *---- "Deducted £30"
First time user...charging done for £1.49 but app deducted £30...no reply from cs lines..scam?
-- Ali very good app, 2025-12-30

### *---- "Embarrassing mess"
Doesn’t work, reports incorrect status, frequent crashes. Appalling.
-- simmosn, 2025-12-30

### *---- "Worst EV charging app"
Without a doubt the worst EV charging app I’ve ever used. Painful process having to enter the same details over and over again. Feels like an app from 15 years ago. An embarrassment. I avoid this company at all costs. Oh yeah and their chargers didn’t even work. Many other drivers complaining.
-- Frustrated nest user! 2023, 2025-08-12

### *---- "Pretty useless"
Just a pretty useless app. Went to plug in. Doesn’t say if connector is 1 or 2.
Doesn’t use Apple Pay which means you have to type in details.
Encouraging people to have an RFID card is not the way.
-- Gormleys, 2025-04-05

### *---- "Too hard"
1. Pasting from a password manager does not satisfy complexity requirements
2. Which charging port is connector 1 or connector 2?
3. No Apple Pay
-- matt8384848483, 2024-11-10

### *---- "Bad app"
I have to reinstall app every time I need to use - unfortunately many of chargers around here are ev dot!!
-- Marty130, 2024-07-11
