My life has been much easier after I started using Evernote about 10 years ago. It’s my number one app of all time.

Updates with terrible design mistakes in just the last month!

Thorz on

Norway

I have been a loyal paying customer for more than a decade and have always liked Evernote, but during the last month the devs have been pushing out updates with horrendous and completely arbitrary decisions: - Disabled the pinch-to-zoom feature used by many apps in iOS and supported in EN since the start. This makes extremely difficult to use the app for people with visual impairments. Then they replaced it with a zoom function in settings that you cannot activate because it completely breaks links in notes and code blocks. - Changed the usual green color on all the internal note links to blue, the same color used for all external links and file links. This has broken functionality that has been present since the product launch. Until the new owners realize the huge mistakes they are taking with the product and correct them I will maintain this one-star review. I will edit it when I see these horrendous changes reverted.

The king of productivity

After more than 20 years, Evernote is still my favorite productivity app. There have been others. For a short time. But I always get back to Evernote. Appreciate the new UI and functionality.

Fantastic improvements since the change of ownership

I am a long time Evernote user and I was put off from how the product was performing. I had already started switching to Joplin and Obsidian. The way the product has improved lately convinced me to stay

Useless upgrades

Thisnicknameistaken333 on

Norway

Who ever designs this adds useless upgrades everytime that complicates things more and makes the app more messy to use- it was best in 2019. Also really inconvenient they haven't programmed it so you can make the note smaller on the desktop version? It's pointless and the developers need to listen to their customers.

Very good product, not responding on technical issues

Supert og nyttig!

Sus1407 on

Norway

Veldig bra program, som gjør det lett å ta vare på alt mulig på en strukturert og bra måte. Enkelt å bruke og ikke dyrt i forhold til all den nytten den gir!

Ruined by greed

TCATB on

Norway

Used Evernote for years, both as paid and free. But then price hikes and severe crippling of the free version? One single note allowed? In the free, default Notes app on Apple you can have unlimited notes and folders, that autosynch between units. Though Evernote does have a cooler app icon. Good bye (n)evernote.
