It’s 2025. All of the below problems existed since early 2024.
Offline Mode doesn’t work. Tags not synchronized. Tasks deadlines corrupted. Sluggish app performance. Google login doesn’t work. New bugs every release, followed by multiple emergency patches. And yet Evernote charges one of the most expensive subscriptions ever. In my 10+ years of Evernote Pro subscription, I’ve never seen things gotten this bad.
Also, if you’re trying to use the free version, don’t bother. They limit you to 1 device and 50 notes.
very buggy recentlty
I lost multiple time my updates, some time few hours of work. I stop to use it from now. Bug can be acceptable but not bug making you loosing your writing. Looking for alternative, probably Microsoft.

there are plenty plenty of options available for us to use digital notebooks ok. newsflash. you’re no longer the only option now. stop being desperate for our money. i barely use this and whenever i thought of using, it bombards me with its own advertisements.
Using it for years
I’ve been using it for years, I remember it was from the time they had a shop selling bags. It’s easy to use and after the update, the notes sync better. I love and as long as it’s here, I’ll keep using it!
Leaps
Decided to stick with Evernote when Bending Spoon took over. It’s taken a few years, but the rewards are now visible. Updates come every few months, and most of them super useful and practical for how I want to use the app.

Why is Offline Mode still buggy? Why can’t Evernote do mass note modification? Why are Tags not synchronized? Why are Tasks deadlines randomly being corrupted? Why aren’t lists and contents draggable? Why aren’t 5-year old bugs fixed? Why are new bugs being released without proper testing? And yet Evernote charges one of the most expensive subscriptions even when compared to Spotify, Microsoft Office, Notion, Netflix.
