30$ “deposit”. wasn’t refunded the difference.

hmmwqqqqq on

They take a deposit out of your card and don’t refund the excess after charging. No other charging station does this

Get a stop charge button on the app

Moodyaboutthis on

Why is it so hard for you to have a stop charging function on the app? Every other app has it. I don’t want to charge to 100% and your unlock/stop function on the station is just ridiculous. Can’t wait to fix up my rfid card so I’m not bound by that nonsense.

Unreliable

Red Dwarfer on

Charging dropped to 5kw after starting. Billing doesn’t work at all. Shows amount owing, but on my account it shows it paid. Tried calling and sent a message, nothing.

Useless

Update - 11 JUNE 2024 (v3.6.1): Login issue still hasn’t been fixed. You can’t do much without logging in, which I can’t. Update - 24 MAY 2024 (v3.5.8): App has been broken since release and still can’t login even with the latest update v3.5.8. I can’t even send a message to your technical support team in your own app! Very disappointed this issue has been on-going since this app had replaced the old Evie app. Side note: Make sure you proof-read your release notes as this is an obvious copy & paste, as your v3.5.8 notes refers to your v3.5.6 release. Original Review: To simply put, the old app was better. This newer app may have more functionality but at least the old app worked. I can't log in regardless of if I use an email or Sign in with Apple. Don't forget the repeated verification code emails or the app signs you out every time you close it if you somehow were able to log in in the first place. To the Evie developers - make sure you actually test the app before releasing it to the public. This sign in issue has been ongoing since this app was released and no word from anyone at Evie about when it's going to be fixed. This issue renders your EV chargers completely useless, especially in locations where there is no other option for EV fast chargers.

Faulty equipment everywhere

DimDimLongLong on

We have just driven up the coast from Sydney. Every Evie station we stopped at had some level of equipment that was not working. At most locations half of the charging units were not functioning. At Taree one out of four was working and it’s screen did not work. At Macksville half of the units were out of service. At Cameron Counter it was the same with screens not working. It was raining hard at Taree and the area the equipment was installed would not drain and so you had to stand in water two or three centimetres deep to connect. We had to wait over an hour and a half at Taree to even start charging. Not a good experience.

Glad I’m not in an emergency

simjbou on

Downloaded the app, still waiting for the ‘magic’ link email.. so tried the password and still no email. And yes, I did wait 15 mins NO email. I’m on 5G with four bars so no excuses and blaming the customer, please. I’m sorry, but what you say and what you do seems to be different.

30$ pre charge?

Ussama Amanat on

What a stupid update. It puts a 30$ charge before anything begins. The charger for some reason wasnt detecting car the other day for some reason and I was without 120$ for days!! How many geniuses you hired to come up with such nonsense?

Cost

Rootsie50 on

No where does it say it costs $14.99 per week, rip-off

Invasion of privacy

Rickylee889 on
