That was all I did. No credit card, no house address, license, record check… just my email address and a password. That was 2019. Never used EVO CAR SHARE. 2022 I emailed them to have my account deleted (if I even had one). The reply was that I owed then $4.48 as an annual fee. Until I paid them they wouldn’t delete my account, and would add $2 every year. Do you know why I’m not longer an EVO CARSHARE member? Because I contacted Ad Standards Canada, informing them that a company was acting unethically by hiding FEES under the guise of a ‘FREE’ membership. I’m no longer a member because the DEI Woke teenagers working at EVO needed to hear it from an office in Ottawa that $2/year is not free, and that false advertising is NOT FAIR. Evo lost.
