Evoke Charging app is buggy, laggy, and insecure. My credit card was taken from this app because of security issues. The app is buggy and laggy and rarely works. It causes my phone to overheat at one point. Please don’t download this app!
The app doesn't work 75% of the time. All 51 chargers near me say available on their hookup but when you scan the qr or enter it manually it says charger not available. The chargers are useless and i cant charge my ev at home because their app does not work.
Possibly the worst EV app on the market. Full of bugs, unhelpful customer service, and often broken.
When it works, it’s great. Problem is the machines fail to initiate a session more than they do and then the app insists you’re connected. A set of beautiful brand new chargers at the Rochester, NY, airport, but I’ve only gotten them to work once.
The app updates have made it a little better but how many times do I have to call evoke support to start a charge?! It’s so frustrating.
Supposed to provide EV charge in my building. Always hit or miss with the charging for past 18 mos. I haven’t been able to connect to charge my car since last app update last month. No return call from customer service.
This is a hit or miss whether I can charge my vehicle. Half the times I need to call to have them turn it on to charge.
I have to agree with what other reviewer said about this app in this company, the technology works some of the time… When it works it’s great, when it doesn’t work it’s horrific. The app is super buggy and as of right now it just isn’t connecting. The saving grace is that the people who run their customer service are often quite helpful and will get back to you right away. That’s not always the case, but when they do, they’re very communicative. I just wish this thing would work.
Lots of improvement from locating a station(search), activating charging and payment process. Look forward to further improvements.
The App is horrible and so are the charging stations, they work whenever they want. The worst part is after it fails to start charging I can’t stop the session through the app so I get stuck and can’t attempt to charge the car again at another station.
