The EXFO RFTM solution is designed to build, turn up, and monitor any type of fiber network, including point-to-point and PON links. This mobile application is the field extension of EXFO RFTM. It is used by field technicians and engineers to execute various tests from an OTDR unit installed in a fixed and central location. Testing supports running end-to-end loss tests on PONs in an FTTP context and runs the remote OTDR in tone mode on the selected route for fiber identification, even in live fiber conditions.
