Die Exoplanet App ist eine interaktive Datenbank aller Exoplaneten (Planeten außerhalb unseres Sonnensystems). Die Datenbank wird täglich aktualisiert und erschließt Ihnen die neuesten Entdeckungen. Die App enthält ein unglaublich detailgetreues Modell der Milchstraße. Sie können in jedes Planetensystem hineinzoomen. Sie finden Himmelskarten mit allen Sternbildern zum einfachen Auffinden der Sterne mit Planeten. Erforschen Sie den Nachthimmel und die Sternbilder auf anderen Planeten. Zoomen Sie weiter heraus und sehen Sie die Galaxienhaufen in unserer kosmischen Nachbarschaft und erkunden Sie die kosmische Hintergrundstrahlung. Lernen Sie mit welchen Methoden die Wissenschaftler das Universum erforschen und nehmen Sie teil an den neuesten Erkenntnissen der Astrophysik.

Updated review version 15.0. I've long been a fan of this app. But now the addition of the Hubble Galaxy images in the universe model (zoom out mode) will just blow the mind.   This is the best ipad apps of all for astronomy, science, if not one of the best apps ever. 

The zoom out is absolutely fantastic.  Zoom in to an exoplanet and out to background radiation is mind blowing.  

I've had this since early versions and the continued development has made it worthwhile. Not "just" a log of planets found, but now with star charts and an interactive milky way galaxy showing planet positions. Great on the iphone, superb on the iPad. The creative additions in updates make this one of my favourite apps. Brilliant stuff!
