I like being able to check my credit, and be on the lookout for fraud. It’s a bit of a pain that every single page is loaded with things that look like included information, but are actually click-bait ads for other costly services. Many, such as account freeze/unfreeze, used to be free. It is a functional app but, in the end, all the ads just point to all that the app doesn’t include and how limited it is. I wonder if I purchased everything, would the unnecessary subscription app cancel half of it? Lol. Anyway, it’s useful but could be much more so.
Experian does great with disputes, discrepancies etc. And they’re always on top of the identity theft issue. I’ve been using them for years now and I don’t think it’s going to change.
Can’t login. Keep getting an error message stating “we encountered an unspecified error connecting to Experian.com! I keep trying on different days and keep getting same error message!
Could not login to app, web portal ok. Call for tech support 5x - directing to different # useless. Directing me web portal no tech support #. I like to use the app if you cannot login useless. Bad experience, I hope they will read my complaints.
I downloaded the Experian app to track my credit score and monitor if anything fishy ever happens. Why is the app OVERFLOWING with ads? I have never been advertised to so much in my life, I can’t navigate anywhere in this app without three credit card offers, auto insurance, or services to clear your info for the dark web. Remember in the early 2000s when you’d accidentally click a bad link in an email and your screen would get flooded with pop-ups that you couldn’t escape from? It’s like whoever invented that also created the Experian app. Did you know in 2023 the FTC filed a civil penalty case against them for spamming consumers with marketing emails? That tracks, in the app too. Also, this app has super high ratings, I suggest you go look through their reviews. All the top ones are pretty clearly fabricated, they read like a commercial script. Nice try Experian
Accurate data
Help me to keep track very easily
I can’t get pass the verification process…still waiting for the verification code to be text to my phone
Almost all of the notifications I receive from this app are attempts to get me to subscribe to or pay for services I don’t want. I only needed the app to freeze/ thaw my credit and even for that, the first place they take you is a paid feature rather than the free offering. Feels very scammy and if it wasn’t the official app, I wouldn’t use it at all.
