These bible reading notes are accessible for all. They are practical and challenging. So often they speak to the situation we are facing at that time. Because of the way they are published you do not need to pour over obscure texts and chapters, you are guided through. My wife and I would recommend this for everyone of whatever age who wants to take God seriously and learn more about Him. But, even if you are new to Christianity, these notes will help you get a firm grasp of scripture and the wonderful promises we have been given.

A well guided devotional to read over breakfast before prayer. The writers challenge us to apply the text to our lives - a good reason to read this at the start of the day.

The explore Bible readings and studies can stretch your mind, enhance your understanding and identify areas of spiritual deficiencies. Whilst this is all helpful to spiritual growth the studies rarely feel like the writer and reader are two beggars looking for bread but critically analytical and less empathetic. I find some of the OT studies more laborious than beneficial. I question the balance between OT and NT studies for me though it is generally useful theOT is featured too often without enough breaks or alternating study in the NT e,g, Jeremiah Having said that I would feel lost without the daily experience

Explore provides an easy to use comprehensive set of devotional notes covering books of the bible; The different writers provide insight, instruction and challenge as you read different passages from the bible; The various notes will help you understand what God’s word through his Holy Spirit is saying to you.

It’s great. It’s good to have a daily passage to read and helpful thoughts. As well as questions that make you think, the notes from godly contributors are a means of teaching you more about the message of the Bible. I would recommend them to every believer and to those seeking to know God for themselves. Thank you all behind producing these notes.

I’ve been using Explore notes for nigh on twenty years. I’ve never found better than these. They make me think, reflect, pray and praise God, and take other action when appropriate. They don’t feed me the point of a passage on a spoon, but make me dig for it, under their guidance. That’s so much more valuable than a paragraph or two laying out the author’s opinion. The app, I’ve been using for a few years now. It’s recently upgraded and improved. It gives you all you need in one place, including all relevant references embedded in the app’s presentation of the days notes. Obviously this takes extra human input which accounts for the extra cost of the app notes over and above the paper notes. The great value, though, is that you can take the notes and your Bible readings wherever you go and take your phone. One further improvement I would make is to remove a slight bug: if I want to compare translations via a Bible app or look something up that I’ve thought of, when I return to the Explore app, it always takes me to the head of the page, not to where I was when I switched apps. It’s not a major bug, but eliminating it would make the app experience even better.

Explore is just such a wonderful devotional. It’s deep. It’s insightful. It’s rich. But also quick (about 5 minutes). I’ve been struggling for a long time with having a consistent devotional habit (since kids) and it’s only Explore that’s got me back into the habit. And it’s really felt easy with Explore. I really enjoy doing my Explore devotional in the morning first thing when I get up. So happy I found this wonderful devotional!

Great notes, but my word, the fact that the app is seemingly incapable of keeping your place in the notes is infuriating. I often end up doing the same ones twice by mistake because each time I open it it’s rolled back to a random study.
