I sure wouldn’t pay for a subscription! 1. Doesn’t provide any feedback to the exercise bike; all it does is slow down or speed up the video when you change rpm. For example, the video could show a steep 10 mph incline, but the video is moving up the hill at 30 mph based on your rpm. 2. The elapsed time shown on the screen is NOT the elapsed time of your exercise. It’s the elapsed time of the video. So if you stop and take a break, the elapsed time keeps running! 3. Video is interesting, but you may be going down the open road at 25 mph and all of a sudden it jumps into a small town.
Worthless app. Nautilis stopped supporting their original app which was great called the Nautilis trainer. I guess this is what they offer now and it’s terrible.
I have a Schwinn 170 that use to sync with a schwinn fitness app. I guess bowflex acquired schwinn. I downloaded the app and it found my bike thru Bluetooth but that was it. It does not sync. So I guess if I buy a bike from this company in the future there is no guarantee they will support me. Let me know if I got that wrong. If I got it right, that’s sad :-(
The scenery is beautiful, but it doesnt tell where some locations are, that would be nice to know where in the world it is, some tell briefly but so vague i have to google I bought paid version which has nice selection of places - app crashes if i try to connect it to my schwinn stationary bike, i can only use manual - and that doesnt record on my apple activities app. I keep hoping a version update will fix it, but no luck yet - no sound/music, im ok w that, but would be cool to have something native to area in video -app doesnt record any info but miles and is not accurate since i essentially have to set a certain mph and leave it - wont connect to my bike at all, its compatible, and wked at one time… now it wont
I have always liked this app to use with schwin 270, I wish it had audio but video has a lot of selections. App has worked great until last iOS update and then app would shut down the second you would go to connect machine. Their support team got right on working on it and within 24 I had a good work around. Not a permanent fix but an acceptable one. Thanks to Alex and rest of his team.
Once I figured out how to stream the app workouts to MyFitnessPal via the Heart app, I became a happy camper. Using it with Schwinn 270 exercise bike is a snap. I get a choice of 6 venues, Mt Zion being a favorite. The speed of the video is synchronized to my bike’s speed for a realistic feeling ride. For music I have to play my own in another app, or else it’s a real quiet ride. At the end, the workout is stored and passed onto other apps and eventually to My Fitness Pal target app. I just wish the premium videos weren’t so expensive, else I’d definitely go for premium for the VERY wide variety of rides around the world. Also it would be nice if the software partnered directly to My Fitness Pal- but at the moment the work around makes it all possible.
My bike shows a different time and distance than the app does for how long I’ve been riding. It also doesn’t sync correctly with Apple health. Example: This morning I rode 18.23 miles in 1:01:05 and burned 605 calories according to the app. In Apple health it shows I’ve only burned 479 calories and exercised for 56 minutes. This is in every single ride I’ve done.
I would like to see a ride in the Atlanta area. Either one of the Beltline or the Silver Comet Trail. Thx
I've landed on the "explore the world" app after purchasing a nautilus T618 treadmill and attempting to pair to the speakers. The bad: Nautilus' website nor the user manual pointed to anything beyond an app called "nautilus trainer" which no longer exists. After researching, finding, downloading, and making a required profile on this app: Speakers don't connect. The app connects to the treadmill, as the speed updates. Great, but the app is so archaic in its user interface that there's no real way to tell if you're connect to a device, or how to "push" sound to the speakers once connected. The good: the free video locations look well done, and provide a minimalistic UI while running, which I see as a benefit. 1/5 stars until they fix the basic functionality of connecting your speakers through the app, the ONLY way to connect to the treadmill.
