Great suite of tools for React Native dev

gmoz22 on

United States

Very easy to get started! It has all the components you need for web/iOS/Android integration (with exhaustive documentation and examples) combined with the familiarity of React (Native) made this my go-to choice for JavaScript/TypeScript based development of native mobile and web app using a single code base, and with the possibility to integrate native modules as well. Electron originally seemed like the easier choice but things get complicated really quickly for me once I added a few modules. Also the Electron-made apps’ source code is fully accessible so I like the security aspect of Expo. Go for it!

Update completely rid of previous SDKs

LfOpO on

United States

I had a project for SDK 49 & got a message that it no longer supported SDK 51 or lower. Literally I had this project completed and done to now not even being able to open my project or see the necessary changes. This was super frustrating and disappointing in many ways. Really upset with the recent update.

Very helpful app

Fixed SDK 51 crush

No PONOS anymore on

United States

I upgraded from SDK 50 to SFK 51, and logging in will cause my app to crush. But I managed to fix it by adding import 'react-native-reanimated'; to the top of App.js Hope this helps.
