Expressvpn used to be reliable in China 5 years ago. Now that I am back, it's unstable and unreliable. You just need to keep reconnecting unlike other VPNs, feels like I wasted 90% of what I paid!
If you came here because of a google review on best vpns to use in China in 2024, don’t believe it. I thought something has changed and it became better now. But no, doesn’t work at all. Takes a long time to connect (if it ever does). When it does connect, nothing loads anyway. Not worth it at all. Even some free vpns work better at this stage.

For the last 3 years or so, it works once in a blue-moon... I am not recommending this VPN to anyone living in China. It is a waste of money, time and effort. Keeps reconnecting, if connected, it doesn’t work just the same (connected but can’t open apps)!
For some reason i cant create an acc i subcribed and it said Unable to create acc due to no internet but i had a great connection
