ABOID AT ALL COSTS If I could give zero I would. They have taken money from my account without permission claiming it was a renewal. No renewal was approved or set, I cancelled the plan in 2023 then suddenly in Dec 2024 a huge amount taken. They are refusing to refund. Cannot speak to a human. Massive scam. AVOID!
It’s not the cheapest solution available, but it’s the only product I found that would work reliably in Turkey for access to UK content. With a fast broadband connection it works well with UHD HEVC streaming services originating anywhere in the world.
Updates seem to be wildly inconsistent for if they make the tool work or not. The latest update means as soon as you move to a different screen on your phone, the VPN connection drops. So, I can have a VPN working ONLY when looking at the ExpressVPN app… super useful…
I have had this app for a couple of years with no issues. Now it will not connect on demand and takes time over and over. I use WhatsApp to call family as I’m in oman which is not now possible. I have complained but have not received any feedback. Sad as I only just renewed my subscription!!!
I have tried to use recently in China, and the app does not work as advertised, wish I had gone with astrill which in past experience was much more stable in China.

This VPN doesn’t work in the country I’m in and they will not let me cancel during the free trial period because it says ‘you can’t cancel here you must cancel from the account you set up on’ and yet I’ve only ever used it on this device as I have no access to other devises. So I have emailed and tried live chat and nobody gets back to you. I have now been charged and will continue to be charged because I cannot cancel and they will not reply. MASSIVE SCAM FOR MONEY DO NOT GET THIS VPN.
While this VPN used to be good, it simply cannot compete with China anymore - I get about 10-30 seconds at a time, then it drops and refreshes the IP in a loop. (iPhone 16, app’s paid version, Pick for Me setting.)
