## EY TaxChat Reviews in United States

### ***** "User friendly and responsive"
I’ve used TurboTax to prepare my own taxes for decades. Because I had several new transactions this year and was going to be out of town for several weeks, I decided to try EYTax Chat. It was very user-friendly and intuitive, and questions posed through the Chat were responded to in about 24 hours. Tax return and supporting schedules were easy to follow. I was very pleased with the ease and quality of the service and plan to use them again next year!
-- Joanne In California, 2025-04-16

### ***** "Great experience!"
The tool was easy to understand and to use. Liked that I could just snap a photo of my information and it would upload to the app. Also liked the chat feature. It was a painless process to talk with my preparer.
-- DD3440, 2024-10-16

### ***** "Makes filing taxes easy"
I had a great experience with something I usually dread. I’ve been using TaxChat for over 3 years and would 100% recommend to friends and family.
-- Not a morning person19, 2024-04-10

### *---- "Total piece of garbage"
How can I trust a company to do my taxes that can’t even execute a quality app? The app is so buggy and has gotten zero attention or investment. It freezes, it tells me wrong information, it tells me I haven’t paid when I have— I constantly have to ping humans for help with it, so what’s the point of being able to do your taxes on an app? EY doesn’t seem to care, everyone still has to do their taxes, and they still get paid. Be prepared for frustration.
-- Fire the hockey commissioner, 2024-03-27

### **--- "Log in and chat"
Do not work. Basic functionality that can’t be done on the app. Do better.
-- NBTravels, 2024-02-24

### ***** "Painless Tax filing service"
I’ve used EY Tax Chat for 2 years. Both years were painless. I uploaded required documentation and answered a number of questions, and EY took care of the rest. Communications are executed within the EY Tac Chat app. I found queries take a day to receive a response due to the time zone difference. This year I filed somewhat late and the entire process took about a week from initiation to e-filing.
-- mwbrad, 2023-04-01

### *---- "Login process is very cumbersome"
The login process is so cumbersome. It’s obvious that the app is just a website wrapped in an app. Not a great app experience either. Please use faceid or touchid.
-- Han C, 2023-02-23

### ***** "Great experience"
I dread doing my taxes but they made it as painless as can be.
-- Deavs10, 2023-02-10

### ***** "Enjoyed my experience"
Enjoyed my experience with EY TaxChat. They were efficient in getting the information they needed from me. Everything was well organized and the process went smoothly.
-- HLS-V, 2022-04-01

### ***** "Happy with the service"
I was very happy with my experience working with EY TaxChat. They asked good questions to make sure my return was prepared accurately and were available when I had questions once it was done. I would use the service again. Thank you!
