## EZO Charging Reviews in Ireland

### ***** "Easy Go"
Easy to use, recommended
-- Valmeidan, 2026-02-27

### *---- "Unnecessarily slow and frustrating payment process"
Charging itself works, but the payment handling is very poor. EZO places a large pre-authorisation and then takes days to release the unused amount. Other providers like Monta return the difference almost instantly, so this delay feels outdated and careless. It’s legal, but not customer-friendly. Payment flow needs serious improvement.
-- Аркадий С, 2026-02-08

### *---- "Rubbish system"
Getting 6.4kw v 22kw. Took 30 mins to connect. Very clumpy technology. ESB system in Ireland is much better.
-- Kilkenny Man, 2025-12-28

### *---- "EZO Pricing is a SCAM!!"
I charged my car from 20% to 80% at their Clontarf Castle charge point. It took 63 minutes, and I sat in the car throughout. I was charged €1.50 access fee, €27.95 consumed energy fee, and …. Wait for it ….. an OVERSTAY FEE of €10.10.
I contacted them as I was sure it was an error, but they assured me that it’s a genuine charge! You can stay at their chargers for 45 minutes while paying for the power - they call this a “grace period” (ie you can use our charger and pay us through the nose for doing so and as a goodwill gesture we won’t charge you for parking in that bay for 45 minutes.)

It’s an outright scam and I’m looking into who regulates these jokers and I’ll take it up with them. But in the meantime my advice is to steer clear of these cowboys - fortunately there are plenty of legitimate operators to choose from.

### ***** "Fantastic"
Very good service
-- Cha273, 2025-11-20

### *---- "Hate that I’m forced to use this service"
Designed by people who clearly didn’t do any form of user testing. They went ahead and updated and rebranded an already terrible experience and they’ve gone a head and made it worse. Don’t change the prices without letting people know, don’t make it so you can’t tell which charger is even plugged into the car. Try harder and making sure that what you display as the wattage on your app and what’s displayed on the charger itself matches. I’m sick and tired of driving to a location that says it’s 50wt only to have it be a 25wt charger. It’s exhausting. I hate that I’m forced to use an app designed by 3 year olds.
-- Rose Faccenda, 2025-09-23

### *---- "Code"
Asking the code and the app didn’t show any code
Stupid app
-- Hazem bosh, 2025-04-13

### ***-- "Needs some bug fixes"
There’s a consistent issue with the map view. If I zoom in on an area, a faint circle appears. This circle fills with chargers. If I move the map, the circle also moves thus hiding the chargers. I have to zoom to get the circle centred again and populated with chargers. Very frustrating. Also, some chargers do not appear, even when a do a search. e.g. Newcastle Co. Down only appears on the EasyGo UK app. Come on guys, the competition is leaving you in the dust.
-- EasyNoxxx, 2025-03-27

### ***-- "Can’t see where chargers are outside my location"
I like it but I can’t see where there are chargers in Wexford, when my location is Dublin?
-- Jumbos Jim, 2024-12-19

### ***** "Great"
Very smooth
-- yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaahhhh, 2024-10-09
