F1 TV

I have over 390 Mbps on average and often get poor quality picture throughout the race. Some parts are perfect quality and match live races on Kayo, but often the picture quality is grainy and pixelated. I’ve tried contact support, but no real answers. Their upload bandwidth must be quite poor. Interestingly it gets worse with older seasons. Watching 2015 season now and in parts it’s quite poor. It’s worst when watching in the F1 App on Apple TV device. It’s somewhat better o when casting to Apple TV from iPad. Doesn’t make sense but seems to be the case. Interestingly I get the same experience on DAZN, except DAZN is worse. I have absolutely no issue at all, ever on Kayo, Netflix, Apple TV or any other App. F1 App is very cheap and at least they offer a service and let me watch re-runs. I just wish they offered a dear option to allow better quality upload.

My only complaint is that I don’t know when I can watch the main F1 race. It is on the schedule, but the time when the race will be shown on the app is not indicated which is a shame and annoying. I am new to F1 TV so this is my first experience. The $35 a year subscription that I paid is great value nonetheless. F1 TV is cheaper than anything else that I’ve seen so far. Thanks for the app!

The app is fine, but it gets 1 star due to the insane level of anti consumerism displayed by F1. I’m more than happy to give them my money to watch this sport I love, in a language I understand, and in a quality and reliability I’m able to enjoy. But, for no reason other than where I happen to be in the world, the refuse my money and don’t allow me to enjoy this sport I’ve supported for decades. I’m instead forced to pay even more just watch it in terrible quality, on a service that frequently crashes, in a language I mostly don’t understand. For no good reason. I guess I should apologise to FOM for liking F1? Because they seem to be punishing me for doing so.

I don’t know if its just my internet but watching videos on here is abysmal because it loads really slow or just doesn’t load at all even when my internet is fine

Love the F1 and the Sky broad cast is on point

Fantastic compilation of brilliant content from the Formula 1 world, let down by a dreadful platform. Feels like a video app from the mid 2000s. Drops in quality on state of the art devices and high end internet speeds, making content from the archives unwatchable. No Picture in Picture on iOS. I could go on and on. What is standard on video streaming platforms in 2024 is entirely absent here. Such a shame.

I have compatible devices and have subscribed for 12 months, downloaded the app, talked to the bot and the very nice human online and I get nothing from this app at all. Just the program, nowhere to tap, nothing on offer. Really bad app. If the situation is the same when I return home from travelling, I’ll be wanting a full refund. So disappointed.

Decent content but laughable streaming video quality. Looks like you're watching an 8-bit video game. Not sure where all the subscription money goes.

I bought this just to watch races but after I purchased it I was able to watch one race and then now I can’t watch anymore, the app is useless and dont bother spending a dime on it. Can even watch FP1 ect. Complete rip off

man this is a scam, i cant even watch the live race (wait until the race, post finished) and the qualifying is not even full!! 5$ wasted smh
