F1 TV Reviews

Doesn’t support pip

dr4k0ul4s on

Cyprus

When the app support pip at least on tablets like Netflix and YouTube apps I’ll give it 5 stars

Airplay

Robertino22 on

Cyprus

App is good but AirPlay support needs fixing. Works fine when using the f1 commentary. As soon as you switch to SkySports commentary which is way better the airplay stops working or takes 20 min for it to start to work with countless connections and disconnects needed to make it work. Mind you using a airplay supported tv. Please fix airplay support.

Better customer support and user friendly app

F1birdonawire on

Cyprus

You could do with better support with your customers than going through emails for a new password reset!!! There are people who watch F1 for over half a century and could use an easier to use app and “mirror” from their phone screen to their tvs and tablets we can see as good as before!!

Airplay support

PavelSS1 on

Cyprus

I bought a pro subscription, but airplay streaming is not working the same way it was a year ago. Is it difficult to resolve? There was a workaround with Opera browser, but now it is not supported somehow. And what should I do? Watch f1 on a small iphone screen instead of a TV?

Too many bugs

John the bird on

Cyprus

Subscription button wont work as you press it to subscribe obviously the app crashes!!

Underwhelming

Denmirg on

Cyprus

No airplay support. Cannot stream video to the TV.

Terrible APP

MikeW777555 on

Cyprus

Spent few months with the app with a paid subscription. It’s awful. iPad version has only one wrong orientation. Subscription faults to work one a month so you have to reinstall apps (F1 support only advise to fix it). I like the racing but this is really ugly app to watch this race.

Full screen error

MrGeorgePhilippou on

Cyprus

When in full screen the video plays 3/4 of the screen.

Pure Greatness

I’m an American that finds sports distasteful. Always been more into extreme sports that showcase humans skills/talents/ intellect an F1 has provided me with all that in more. Didn’t really start getting into it till they finally came back to Vegas and now I’m hooked. This app helped me learn a bit more about the history of Formula Racing and I will be on this app everyday gearing up for the next season to start in 3 months time. Thank You Formula Team for helping me find my place outside of skateboarding!

A disgrace.

There are so many examples of streaming apps that are world class. This is the counter example. To start, you are constantly prompted to log in - especially on the Apple TV app. There horrible continuity if you start on one device and want to pick up where you left off on the other. I don’t know how many times this season I was forced back to the start of the race and had to figure out where I was. The streaming is unreliable and has frequent laggy periods with super low resolution. And, for some reason, the app doesn’t let you quickly jump back in to where you left off - especially if you were behind by a race or two…you have to navigate through the season to find the race, then click in to find it. I wish there was a better way.
