I am subscribed to f1tv and used to regularly watch Recently the app has been stuck on the loading screen( f1 logo and red background) i have tried different devices , shutting my phone down , updating the app and so on yet none has worked. I currently use an iphone running 18.1
They’ve had years now to iron out the app and for a paid service it should be working much better! There’s still no Samsung tv app for it, and if they won’t release that then at least make the Airplay functionality stable because it so often can’t cast/you can cast video but not English audio track etc. When it does work, the features are great, it just still way too inconsistent and buggy.
Works generally but today in the final it continuously cut out. I used two different connections and neither were better than the other. Fix.
What a disappointing experience that such high performance sport writes such a poor app - the streaming quality is sub std - Very Poor. - not even streaming properly at 1080. This is very specific to the Apple TV setup. Then Samsung Smart TV dont even allow the app to be loaded.
I watch using my iPad and really love that I can stay up to date on all races. One of most used streaming up. I am pleased that I don’t need a TV to watch my favourite sport live.

These guys have known for a long time that it is buggy (read it never works) when streaming from iPhone to Samsung smart tv. FIX IT! Or allow the app to be downloaded to your tv. A joke.
I gave a months notice when cancelling my subscription yet they withdrew my access immediately. I paid at the beginning of November, then I cancelled. My subscription service still says it will terminate on 8 December, yet when I try and watch, it tells me that I need to subscribe. And yes, I am logged in and have tried to restore my purchase.
Just finished watching the Vegas GP, looking forward and expecting to see the podium presentation of the race winner and the new World Champion, but the broadcast stops in the escourt vehicles. How useless!! It’s an F1 app, I expect to see the full F1 race and ceremony! There’s no broadcast time limits, Tupi should show the full event.
The screen sharing / mirroring / casting from iPhone to Samsung TV is very poor - always a connection issue so you can’t enjoy the live races with the family even though this App comes at a premium. Screen mirroring from a laptop also gives you a blank screen. Just disappointing coming from an App developed for the pinnacle of motorsport. If this can be resolved and live races can be streamed and screen casted without issues then I would give the App a 5. I do acknowledge the many other great features on the App and kudos to the developers here but really it’s the live events that people really want to catch. Hope this will be resolved.
