FabStation is bringing augmented reality steel production tools to the fabrication floor with real-time reporting and infrastructure for data exchange with the office. Drawings, 3D models, status updates, and time and material tracking are the basis of a system that will level-up your operations.
At the heart of this toolset is our proprietary augmented reality technology which acts like a digital template. This works by virtually placing a 3D model over the physical material it represents, thereby allowing the fabricator to see (as viewed through an iPad) what they are building before it is built or inspect it when it is complete. This is an invaluable tool for training new fabricators, for all fabricators to do pre-build surveys of what they are about to build or to inspect work once complete.
