According to the literature, the two main ways in which we determine emotion in others is by: 1) attending to and understanding important emotional cues and 2) having experienced that emotion ourselves; therefore referring to our own similar emotional experiences. Consequently the goals of this treatment program are: i. To teach participants to attend to facial features/regions that are most important for determining emotion (eye region: brows and lids; and mouth). ii. To use personal emotional experience to relate to and identify emotions in others. There are two main components to this program. One component uses a series of questions to familiarise participants with facial expressions. The other piece uses elaborate discussion to help the participant relate to the emotions being discussed, through awareness of their own personal emotional experiences. Both components of this program are interwoven and require a lot of interaction between the participant and the therapist. ## FACES intervention Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource116/v4/e8/a0/0a/e8a00a5c-3ab9-2d43-1167-badf530ac14c/cfe1b993-9dac-4a50-8d13-051ccbf167d9_Simulator_Screen_Shot_-_iPhone_11_Pro_Max_-_2021-11-18_at_17.58.31.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource116/v4/5b/08/95/5b089597-fa39-c095-bed3-daa5217d86e1/38e5f268-db47-4987-9143-a6d6fb10cc84_Simulator_Screen_Shot_-_iPhone_11_Pro_Max_-_2021-11-18_at_17.58.55.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource116/v4/ac/e0/48/ace048f1-8681-90c1-0f5f-f76353ced0bc/b75d74b6-3b66-4405-8707-343d35271381_Simulator_Screen_Shot_-_iPhone_11_Pro_Max_-_2021-11-18_at_17.59.04.png/1242x2688.png) ## FACES intervention Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 0 (0%) - 4 stars: 0 (0%) - 3 stars: 0 (0%) - 2 stars: 0 (0%) - 1 stars: 2 (100%) ## Apps Similar to FACES intervention - [HelloMind - Hypnosis & Therapy](https://apptail.io/app/hellomind-hypnosis-therapy-Lm/united-states) - [Voice Analyst: Pitch & Volume](https://apptail.io/app/voice-analyst-pitch-volume-vge/united-states) - [My House of Memories](https://apptail.io/app/my-house-of-memories-LMe/united-states) - [Sleep Tracker & Snore Recorder](https://apptail.io/app/sleep-tracker-snore-recorder-UnE/united-states) - [Memory Lane Games](https://apptail.io/app/memory-lane-games-hYV/united-states) - [Biofeedback Breath Meditation](https://apptail.io/app/biofeedback-breath-meditation-TAeb/united-states) - [Apraxia Therapy Lite](https://apptail.io/app/apraxia-therapy-lite-ftwc/united-states) - [Self-hypnosis Patrick Browning](https://apptail.io/app/self-hypnosis-patrick-browning-Ivgd/united-states) - [PRESS calc](https://apptail.io/app/press-calc-xwNd/united-states) - [VR for Stammering](https://apptail.io/app/vr-for-stammering-usJj/united-states) ## FACES intervention Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/united-states) - [Argentina](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/argentina) - [Austria](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/austria) - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/australia) - [Belgium](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/belgium) - [Belarus](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/belarus) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/canada) - [Chile](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/chile) - [China](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/china) - [Colombia](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/colombia) - [Czechia](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/czechia) - [Denmark](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/denmark) - [Dominican Republic](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/dominican-republic) - [Spain](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/spain) - [France](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/france) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/united-kingdom) - [Greece](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/greece) - [Indonesia](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/indonesia) - [Ireland](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/ireland) - [Israel](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/israel) - [Italy](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/italy) - [Sri Lanka](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/sri-lanka) - [Mexico](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/mexico) - [Malaysia](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/malaysia) - [Nigeria](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/nigeria) - [Netherlands](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/netherlands) - [New Zealand](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/new-zealand) - [Philippines](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/philippines) - [Romania](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/romania) - [Russia](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/russia) - [Sweden](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/sweden) - [Thailand](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/thailand) - [Türkiye](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/turkey) - [Taiwan](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/taiwan) - [Ukraine](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/ukraine) - [United Arab Emirates](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/united-arab-emirates) - [Vietnam](https://apptail.io/app/faces-intervention-BsJj/vietnam) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
