A Disappointing Shift Post-AI Update
I’ve been using the Falou app to learn basic Hungarian, and I was genuinely impressed with it before the recent AI update. Back then, it was a fantastic tool—engaging, intuitive, and effective for beginners like me. The app used to incorporate visuals like pictures to help understand and visualize vocabulary, which made learning fun and memorable. The teaching style was clear, and the lessons felt well-structured, helping me build a solid foundation in Hungarian. However, the AI update has completely changed my experience for the worse. The pronunciation feedback, which is crucial for language learning, is now inconsistent and often inaccurate. The app struggles to recognize words I say, even when I’m confident in my pronunciation, which is frustrating and demotivating. Instead of the vibrant visuals and photos that made lessons engaging, the app now relies heavily on an AI character with a robotic voice. This shift to a text-heavy, AI-driven interface feels like a downgrade—there’s no visualization to aid learning, and the teaching style has become monotonous and less interactive. I’m disappointed that Falou moved away from what made it special. The previous version was awesome, with a perfect blend of visuals and practical lessons that made learning Hungarian enjoyable. This new AI-focused approach feels like a step backward, lacking the charm and effectiveness of the original. I strongly urge the developers to revert to the previous version or at least reintroduce the visual aids and improve the pronunciation recognition. Until then, I can only give Falou one star—it’s a shadow of what it used to be.

Good app but too pushy for subscribing premium
Its an amazing app but it shows pop up for subscribing to premium after every 2 minutes and that feels too pushy and irritating, I would have given 5 stars if it was not so pushy and please add multi user or family plan
