Its a great idea but theres a couple missing things that should be second nature for an app in 2024 plus bugs to work out. You cant properly crop a profile picture, i cant change my name, notifications arent working. I do like how it shows the classes for each child, i would like to see times if possible.
Always says “try again”
This app has worked maybe 5 times in the year I’ve had it. I can hardly ever get communication from teachers in real time because the app is always down. But then when I try to figure out what’s wrong, the site says there is no problem. It’s basically pointless to even have at this point.
Updates!
Good to go. Not sure how it happened but change my phone number and then about 3 years later it kicked me out. Couple of exchanges with support (finally) and they were able to get my issue fixed!
code
my daughters school dont have a code so i cant use this app to talk to her teacher not a fan
Are we back in 1994?
The app is constantly not working and showing a blank screen saying there is no internet connection, which is not true as all of my other apps work perfectly. This hinders timely communication with the teachers and is really annoying. I just took a trip to the school to bring something for my child while it was not necessary - but the message did not reach me until too late.
Allows any user to communicate by text
Like other apps designed for communication, this app has slowly simply become a major distraction for me and other parents of my children’s schoolmates. I never consented to receiving messages by text. I opted out after having received them. But the app continues to allow them, and know I get them from all 3 of my kids’ teachers. There are probably 15 teaches that text me now, with no opt out instructions. I cannot find opt out instructions on the app. Given that most of the information I receive is not relevant, I know ignore them entirely because I don’t have time to filter all the information I receive.
Works sporadically
Great idea but 90 percent of the time it doesn’t work. It constantly loads a page that says we will be back soon. When you select the site status link it always shows operational with no issues when clearly there is an issue as you cannot gain access to the site. Super frustrating as a parent when you cannot communicate with teachers or see their updates.

APP DOES NOT WORK
This app does not, and will not work on my phone. I’ve tried several times to uninstall, reinstall, turn my phone on and off, update the app and still NOTHING will work. I sat on the chat for over 4 hours to get help from online support and they were no help. I’ve sent a request for assistance, no reply back. I’m not understanding. I get notifications from the app that I am receiving new messages, but I can never check them because every time I click on the app, I get an error message that reads “so sorry…either our system is under going maintenance or an error occurred. Please try again later or contact support.” I’ve tried been trying since February of this year, and like I said, I’ve contacted support and have received zero support. Where do we go from here? It would be nice to actually be able to read the announcements and messages from the school faculty.
Buttons need to be labeled better
I started using this app this year with my daughters middle school. I do like it however, I am a blind, iPhone user. I use a screen reader that is built into the iPhone. When I go to send a message, the send button is not labeled so the screen reader reads it. I have to guess where the button is, and it gets very frustrating when I don’t send a message correctly. Please fix this. Other than that, I do love the fact that I can talk back-and-forth to teachers during class time.
