App is good until it locked up my screen.

Far too hard to find interesting content by category or topic.

No way to shut off the voice

There is no way, from what I’ve found, to disable the auto-play function of the header video that appears anytime you open the app or return to the apps Home page. At the very least an option to load it with audio muted would be nice.

Enjoy all the do-it-yourself projects and you get knowledge on many of the trades.

No a bad start for the app. Suggest CC on videos and titles on hack video thumbnails

The videos are superior. As an unhandy person, I reviewed several videos and found them all to be excellent. The app would get six stars if it was easier to find information. I am looking forward to seeing refinements to the app. Thanks to the publishers of Handyman for a great start on the app.

I reviewed two selections and found them to be top rate, helpful and a confidence builder. I can’t wait to try more. Searching for items was easy and the categories were well organized.

Short, quick and relevant videos full of great tips.

I’ve been a home owner for about 3 years now and have been looking into updating my home improvement. Most of the content from your site is solid, no fluff, honest information that every home owner could benefit from. This app however could solve my problems when it comes to tracking my projects, searching for specific videos, and learning new techniques. This app is definitely not optimized yet, but I can’t help but feel the potential that this is something a lot of us guys could use right now to keep our homes maintained, upgrade, or even get fresh ideas. If this app fixes search, organization, allows tracking of completed videos, and offers a skill/badge progression to show your own merit or progress, then you got a true Family Handy Man app :)
