The kids need their permission slips signed. Your partner needs to remember the dentist. Someone has to defrost dinner. And somehow it's all on you — the schedule, the chores, the reminders, the follow-ups. Welcome to the mental load. Nomo is built for the parent who's tired of being everyone's calendar, alarm clock, and project manager. Instead of holding your family's entire to-do list in your head, you send each task to the person who should actually do it. They get the reminder. They get the notification. They get the accountability — not you. How it works: Send a task to your partner, your kid, your roommate. Set the deadline. Add notes if you want. Hit send. The receiver gets a notification on their phone. They mark it done when they finish — or you get a nudge when they don't. No more "did you do the thing?" No more nagging at dinner. Use cases parents love: • Mom sends son a daily reminder to practice piano — without saying it five times • Wife asks husband to grab eggs on the way home — and he actually doesn't forget • Dad delegates Saturday morning chores to the kids in 30 seconds instead of nagging for two hours • Working parents split pickups, school forms, and weekend errands without the constant text-thread chaos Why Nomo isn't another chore chart: We're not a sticker-and-allowance app for kids. We're not a shared calendar. We're not a productivity tool for individuals. Nomo is a family task delegation system built for one specific person: the parent who's drowning in the invisible labor of running a household and wants to actually share it. Features: • Send tasks to anyone — partner, kids, roommates, family • Smart reminders on the receiver's phone (not yours) • Track who did what without micromanaging • Recurring tasks for ongoing chores • Private — your family's tasks stay between you Built for the default parent. The mom who's "just so good at remembering." The dad doing the kid logistics. The partner who's tired of being the household's project manager. Stop carrying it all. Start sharing the mental load.
