## Family Tracker Description
NEWS:
Family Tracker was used to locate a missing child - see news report on:

***SUPPORT NOTICE****
We do help everyone who contacts us via our iphone@logsat.com email address, but unfortunately most users give bad ratings without ever contacting us for support. Please do contact us if you have any issues, we're always there to help!
***************

Family Tracker allows you to track your wife, husband, children and fiancée. You can now find out where they are, at anytime, as long as they have their phones with them. Family Tracker is available for other platforms as well, so you can track (and be tracked by) other devices as well - check our website for more details.

Please note that starting with the new iOS4 and supported hardware, Family Tracker runs in the background at all times, and, unlike previous versions of Family Tracker, user intervention is **NOT** needed for you to track them. Family Tracker runs at all times, continuously updating the GPS location of the device. Even if the iPhone is rebooted, Family Tracker will automatically resume tracking and updating its position!

So how does this work?

Simple. Install Family Tracker on the iPhone/iPad you want to track. From then on, you can use either a web browser or via the Family Tracker app itself installed on your own iPhone/iPad to locate your family member.

If the device you wish to track does not support multitasking (for example, older iPhones 3G, iPads), you can still use Family Tracker to locate the family member. Using the web or your own iPhone, you will be able to "ping" the other iPhone. This is done by sending the other iPhone a (free) “Apple Push Notification” which will cause an alert to sound on your family member’s iPhone, even if the phone in is stand-by, just as would happen if the iPhone receives an SMS. As soon as this alert is acknowledged, their GPS position will be recorded, and their location will be updated on a map. If you are using an iPhone yourself to track them, you will be sent a Push Notification to inform you that the family member has accepted your "ping". These notifications will be automatically re-sent every 60 seconds until they are acknowledged. If the recipient is trying to ignore them or does not hear them, this repetition will help acknowledging them.

Family Tracker does not need to know your iPhone cell number to function, as it does not send SMS messages for notifications. Your email address is instead used to send free Apple Push Notifications to the iPhones being tracked. These notifications are free, specific to our Family Tracker application, and work anywhere in the world as long as the iPhone and/or iTouch being tracked has internet access via the cellular network or WiFi.

Notice: ***Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.*** For this reason, we strongly recommend users to configure Family Tracker to use the "Driving Only" accuracy in the GPS setting. This special mode updates the GPS location only when a significant location change occurs, which results in a tremendous gain in battery life.

Additional pro features, such as the ability to see the past locations for the previous 2 weeks, and the ability to set geofences so you are alerted when users that you track enter or leave certain areas are available via an optional iTunes subscription.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Your iTunes account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. Subscriptions are available for either $1.99/month, or $5.99/3 months, or $9.99/6 months or $19.99/year. Privacy policy & terms of use:

## Family Tracker Reviews in United States

### *---- "Bogus charges"
They keep charging me even though I’ve repeatedly cancelled my subscription.

I have cancelled it. A long time ago. Yet I was just charged $39.99 for it 2 days ago.
-- 388Mom, 2020-06-04

### *---- "Worthless App"
Worthless app - cannot get the email verification step to work.

Used this app a long time ago on a different phone and it worked okay - not the case anymore
-- Ownage man, 2018-07-03

### *---- "Fraud"
Doesn’t do what was promised. Doesn’t show history despite shelling out more for the pro subscription. Ignored request for tech support. Spend your money somewhere else.
-- Baileyspencer11314, 2018-03-14

### *---- "DOES NOT WORK!!!"
Absolutely useless. I played with every setting on this and it would not consistently update locations. Then downloaded Life360 and it worked great so I know it’s not me or my phones. I basically lost $24. I asked for a refund but I have little hope of getting it.
-- DiPippa_Damian, 2018-03-02

### *---- "Does not work"
When I push the contact button to add a contact the app closes. When I asked for a refund they gave me a procedure that does not address getting a refund.
-- 1265432147889, 2018-01-03

### ***** "Been using it for over two years. Great upgrades"
Well worth the money. Simple, and it works. Can track my wife’s iPhone and my kids’ Androids. Been using it for over two years, and the new version for iOS10 and higher and with geofencing rocks.
-- TheiPhoneJunkie, 2017-12-03

### ***** "Love the app"
Years ago there were some problems with the app running on iOS7.0, but the developers had informed us that iOS 7.0 itself had a bug, and that even Apple’s Find My Friends app was not working right. Since we upgraded to newer iOS the app works great, I can track my boyfriend when he’s riding his bike across the state, and I always know where he is. I love the app.
-- chantalandmiguel, 2017-12-03

### ***** "Thumbs up from us!"
The app works great, we can track any phone we want, wether they’re Apple or Android. My wife, our daughters and myself all share the same iTunes account, so I only had to buy the app once and it works on all of our phones, and we can track whoever we want as long as they are running the app on their phones.
-- SpeedSkydiver, 2017-08-24

### *---- "Big thumbs down"
App isn't so easy to use. Each user has to have email address (not ideal for younger kids) and if you are using different formats (iPhone & Android) within the same family you have to pay for the app multiple times. I felt like this should have been mentioned. I contacted customer service concerning the issues and they blew me off. Sorry not sorry kind of thing. Save your $ and time and don't download this app.
-- Heather Cordova, 2017-03-14

### ***** "Great new features"
Thanks for the new geofencing features! Tracks great both the iPones and the Androids in my family
-- Fibercode, 2016-12-13
