## Fan Guru Reviews in United States

### ****- "Nice!!! But.."
I this is a very helpful app for finding people like you and also helpful for conventions!!!! But, the app hasn’t updated I think since last year.
-- midnightgamer100020 in roblox, 2024-07-12

### **--- "Odd App"
This is a really risky app at times. It asks for so much of your information but then limits what you can change. I needed to alter some information but it doesn’t have any option to do so. Verifying information can also be a pain if trying to redo after first installation. I hope it’s not taking my information and just selling it to the highest bidder without letting you be able to modify or limit what they take. It’s buggy and fails to adequately work during events, to the point where in multiple conventions, they’ve had to print out information because the app could not handle it. Completely throwing off venue times and locations since you can use the app and have to rely on word of mouth.

### *---- "Ok when it works but severely flawed"
At Project Akon cell service was garbage for me and though not this apps fault it was the main way to get event info for the con. But that said if these apps are to replace paper schedules they have to just work. So my frustrations are one load relevant items 1st if it is 5pm I don’t need it to load the morning items. And often times it would hang before it got to the current items. Or you would almost have what you want to see and it would reload. So what I would like to see is load text 1st that way people can read even if the pictures are loading too slow and default to relevant items. Two implement some app caching so once you have it loaded or perhaps you load off site you have access even if you don’t have cell service.
-- Konchu, 2022-06-04

### *---- "Crashes"
I was using the app this morning, but it keeps crashing this afternoon.
-- GoblinQueen5, 2022-06-03

### *---- "Absolute trash. I hope A-Kon chooses to use Guidebook next year."
Decided to just up and stop working an hour into the convention m. Was kind of shaky even before that point.
-- Plemlem, 2022-06-03

### **--- "Shockingly slow"
It’s hard to use because it loads so incredibly slow. It often doesn’t load all the content so I can’t look at complete schedules. Only partial schedules.
-- bobs sandles, 2022-06-03

### *---- "“You must be logged in to continue“"
I’m not creating an account on your unnecessary app just to see the event schedule.
-- TimToon, 2021-08-01

### *---- "Wouldn’t Load"
As soon as a created an account the fan guru wouldn’t load. I downloaded this app because I’m going to a Supernatural convention in Nov but I can’t even get into the app because I wouldn’t load in. I tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling it as well as pressing the little check mark looking thing about the “You’re all set welcome to fan guru” but I wouldn’t work. Nothing worked for me.

### ****- "Can’t repurchase with new iPhone update!"
The new iPhone update won’t let me repurchase it. I would like to use it again but am unable to. Please fix this!
-- SnowLily123, 2019-12-05

### ***** "A charge to download a map?"
I attended the Boston FanExpo over the weekend 8/17/19 and I downloaded the app to simply see the map. I was charged $84.99! Just for the map?!?!
