Fantastical Calendar Reviews

Widget

Two week calendar widget no longer works. Clicking arrows does nothing.

Value Proposition No Longer There

BecauseScience on

United States

I’ve been a paying customer of Fantastical since back in the day when I purchased a license on each platform. Heading into 2025 $90 bucks a year doesn’t work for me anymore. The native Calendar app has gotten so good, that unless you lean heavily on the Proposals/Openings feature, the native app has near feature parity with Fantastical, for free.

New bug (feature?) makes using this very annoying - constant notifications for hidden calendars

n3rfus on

United States

The latest version now gives me notifications for ALL calendars, even hidden ones. I hide calendars for a reason. I have to track a lot of info and hide the info I don't want/need day-to-day. But now my hidden calendars ping me with notifications about events that I don't want to be pinged about. This makes this app intrusive and annoying for me and forces me to use Apple's default Calendar app now even though I'm a paying Fantastical subscriber. If this isn't fixed, I'll have to cancel my subscription and switch permanently.

iPhone App Crashes

MoosePapa on

United States

Long time user. Have been experiencing multiple crashes monthly requiring deletion, AppStore, reload app, go thru multiple resets. Also requires App-Specific password to synch between multiple devices which is even more time-consuming. When working it is the best combination of features and interface for my calendar needs.

Best Calendar App By Far

Michael Rosa-Vourazeris on

I’m surprised to see that Fantastical isn’t a 5 star app. It’s by far the best calendar, beautiful designed and the functionality is great. I’m so happy this app exists, by far my most used app.

Sync broken on iOS 18.2beta

Cpt'Merica on

United States

Love the app but running iOS 18.2beta and watch OS 11.2 nothing but the weather syncs to watch. None of my favorite complications display anything but “no items” regardless of settings or number of events.

Trash app and developers

Just money grabbers. DO NOT BUY.

And I thought iOS calendar was solid!

Now, I can’t live without this app. Between their awesome privacy policy to the UX/UI, to the ability to see your daily / weekly events easily, to the ability to add events simply as needed, when needed. I have a busy life, and this app is Fantastical!
