"Begib dich virtuell im Deutschen Bergbau-Museum Bochum in alten Bergwerken auf die Suche nach den verlorenen Farben!

In einer Zukunft, in der alles grau ist, kontrolliert eine fehlgeleitete KI alle Ressourcen. Auch Farben spürt sie auf und hindert die Menschen daran diese zu nutzen. Dadurch konnte niemand mehr seine Kreativität durch Malen ausdrücken und die Seelen der Menschen wurden so trostlos wie ihre Umgebung. Doch dem ehemaligen Fahrradkurier Jo sind Gerüchte über ein verlassenes archäologisches Archiv zu Ohren gekommen, dass wertvolle Informationen zu enthalten scheint. Jo reist zu dem Ort und entdeckt etwas Unglaubliches: Eine Karte mit den Standorten vierer alter Labore, die den Schlüssel zum Ursprung der Farben enthalten könnten.

Mit deiner Hilfe startet ein Wettlauf gegen die Zeit, die Labore zu finden und die Farben zurück in die Welt zu bringen. Schafft ihr es, bevor die KI davon erfährt und euch stoppt? Während deines Abenteuers lernst du verschiedene archäologische Methoden, wie auch alte Abbautechniken in Augmented Reality kennen und kannst am Ende die zurückgewonnene Farbe nutzen, um auch deine Welt etwas bunter zu gestalten.

Das Spiel ist im Rundgang Bergbau - Steinzeit mit Zukunft des deutschen Bergbau-Museums Bochum spielbar und entstand im Rahmen des Verbundprojektes ""Blackbox Archäologie"".

Im Projekt Blackbox öffnen die drei Verbundpartner - das LWL-Museum für Archäologie und Kultur, das LWL-Römermuseum Haltern und das Deutsche Bergbau-Museum Bochum, Leibniz-Forschungsmuseum für Georessourcen - partizipativ und mit digitalen Mitteln verschlossene Räume des archäologischen Arbeitens und machen Wissen transparent und diskutabel. Das Designstudio NEEEU Spaces GmbH unterstützt die Verbundmuseen als digitaler Partner. Gefördert im Programm Kultur Digital der Kulturstiftung des Bundes. Gefördert von der Beauftragten der Bundesregierung für Kultur und Medien. Das Projekt läuft bis Ende 2023."
