Game changer

So much faster than Apple’s Files app. Before, I couldn’t really preview media from my NAS in iOS because it was way too slow, this app is much faster, making my desired workflow possible!

All is good except...

certain mp4 60fps format files playback seems to stutter with HW+ or HW. Please support more codec for smooth playback.

Downloading impossible

Downloading simply doesn’t work

Can’t install since version 11.2

I wasn’t able to install update 11.2. I deleted the app to see if I can install it from scratch, now it won’t install at all. Please fix.

WebDAV is broken. report http 405, but works with other file app.

Good App

Seems to have fixed the delete/not-deleted issue, so it’s back on my good apps list 👍

Very useful

In my goal to use only my iPad Pro as a laptop replacement, the default file app isn’t powerful enough. Indeed, if you want to copy a file from the file app to your NAS for example, it’s take a long time and the there no real ETA. By using FE, not only you have an ETA (Accurate) but also it’s way faster ! A fantastic app to use also to connect to remote servers! Convenient, useful, it deserves 5 stars The only downside, but it’s not FE fault, you can’t set FE as default safari download folder, iPad OS doesn’t allow it. Team, A last word : A little cosmetic refresh would be appreciated :-) Thanks

A Swiss Army Knife

FE is a powerful file manager for managing and playing back files locally and on device. It’s still being updated and hasn’t been superceded by bloatware or ads like many others have. A+.

Useful But With Critical BUG

Note the following issue - the DELETE function doesn’t always work. The copy/move seems to work fine. But, the DELETE function “seems to work” but when you go back into a folder the files are still there. - this is when I’m connected to an SMB share to a Mac. Because of this BUG, this app is not as usable.

No Longer Usable Due to Critical BUG

This app is no longer useable due to the following critical BUG. Talking to their support over the past few months has been like talking to 2-year-olds: either they don’t understand how to resolve a bug in their code or they simply don’t seem to care. Note: the following issue is NOT a problem in other apps like FileBrowserGO. So, I’ve switched to using that app, even though I paid for this one! Critical BUG: - the DELETE function doesn’t always work. The copy/move seems to work fine. Because of this BUG, this app is very unusable. And, the developers have no clue how to fix it!
