Best RSS reader for iOS

Woodsey76 on

I love this app, been using it with The Old Reader, syncs easily so always have access to my feeds

Still great after all these years

Great RSS reader. Well designed and still getting updates.

Leaps and bounds!

I checked into this app after trying it a year or two ago and I’m amazed at how much it’s improved. Mr Reader was the best RSS reader of them all but this app is closing the gap. Very impressive.

Great UI but one big flaw with buffering in current version.

NickCollingridge on

I love the UI - very compact and enables you to quickly scan what’s new on all the RSS feeds that interest you. The one big annoyance is that if your device goes offline temporarily (such as when on a train and it goes into a tunnel), the article list in the topic you are looking at disappears, and if you are looking at an article its content disappears as well. You get an error message warning you that your device is offline, but this message specifically says that the app buffers content and you can still look at it. Unfortunately this is just not the case!

Works properly again

Latest update has fixed the display issue in v 4.2. Usable again!

A longstanding essential

TheNewBassline on

One of the first apps I bought for the original iPad, and has stayed a favourite ever since. While Google Reader may have closed in the meantime, this app has stayed up to date with support for the newer RSS services like FeedHQ, and is as essential now as it has always been. The most recent update has remedied an display issue, great to see that the developer continues to support this app after all this time.

Regular crashes

ericuk on

I have used FeedlerPro for years as my RSS reader on my iPhone 6s Plus and it has been really great. But recently the app crashes regularly with (null) displays and my emails to support go unanswered. The only way to get around it is to quit the app and relaunch, but having to do this several times a day is very frustrating. So reluctantly after years of good use I have to look for another app to replace it.

Poor offline

cb1paul on

Good reader, but doesn’t work well for offline reading (and no response from support).

Great little reader

Phil Penman on

simple but effective, if only all apps were this nice.
