## FeelingPal Description
FeelingPal gives children a calm, simple way to express how they're feeling — and gives parents the insight to respond with confidence.

Built for kids ages 5 and up (including children with autism and ADHD), FeelingPal replaces meltdowns with check-ins. Your child picks an emotion, rates the intensity on a volcano scale, and optionally adds words. That's it — three taps, no reading required.

WHAT YOUR CHILD SEES
- 9 emotions with big, friendly emoji buttons — Happy, Sad, Angry, Frustrated, Worried, Hurt, Tired, Confused, and Too Much
- A 5-level volcano scale to show how big the feeling is
- Optional words screen for kids who want to say more
- Age-appropriate coping skill prompts when intensity is high (breathing exercises, grounding techniques, sensory activities)
- A visual daily schedule with drag-and-drop routine cards and tap-to-complete tracking

BUILT FOR REAL FAMILIES
- Works offline — check-ins are saved locally and sync automatically when your device reconnects
- Follow-up prompts appear 25-35 minutes after a high-intensity check-in to see if your child is feeling better
- Email notifications alert you immediately when your child logs an intense feeling (3+)
