Now previous scores are wiped, new 100% scores are shown as 1%, and some lessons cannot hear the notes at all, or claim that the wrong bass string(!) was played or the beat was off. There’s a lot of 0% scores from new lessons for me moving forward. I’m waiting for them to fix this mess which they do not openly acknowledge. Support explains the moving of Feedback Mode, and advises to reinstall the app. What a crock! -- JoeyRooster, 2026-07-28 ### *---- "Update screwed up the feedback mode" The latest update added feedback mode to practice mode. First problem is that it doesn’t record my score. The bigger problem is that I can no longer use AirPods for listening to the track and iPad microphone for listening to my playing. It is all either iPad or AirPod and AirPods only hear voice. Notes aren’t recognized. This is a colossal screw up by fender. -- Joe bag o’donuts, 2026-07-27 ### *---- "8.x Launch Is A Disaster" Launch of 8.X is a disaster! It deleted my progress history, high scores, and won’t even grade my performance any longer. I hope that Fender fixes the app soon. -- 512Saints, 2026-07-26 ### *---- "Monthly bills" Doesn’t mention anywhere that it’s a monthly paid service until after you give them your information -- Roark is, 2026-07-17 ### *---- "Fender = BAD" Corpo is not Rock and Roll. Suing in bad faith because you failed is what losers do. Leo was a master, Fender is a business and does not care anout you or your music. -- tithdhshd, 2026-05-19 ### *---- "Sign in" Cant sign in or sign up -- Sab talash, 2026-05-08 ### *---- "Doesn’t work!" Despite everything being up to date, app closes automatically after silly entry survey. Utterly useless! Canceled subscription!! -- Thaddaeus5, 2026-02-19 ### *---- "What a waste" I downloaded this after using the Gibson app, because there seemed to be a better song list. After trying it, there is no live feedback or gamification of any of the songs. I don’t know why I would pay 150 a year to get tabs and video lessons only. I can get what this offers for free in tons of other resources. Oh well. -- DCloud4, 2026-02-08 ### *---- "7.4.5 will not work, closes every time" Downloaded nestest app version today on iPad OS 26.2.1. App thinks I am a new user and goes through the startup questions. On the fourth screen, “What path interests you right now?” the app closes. Have uninstalled and reinstalled, rebooted the iPad, tried multiple times but not able to start the app beyond those four screens. If this does not get fixed quickly I would like a refund. -- drmrforman, 2026-02-08 ### ***-- "Nice app but missing audio interface support" Overall, nice app. The parts of the app that rely on the microphone are twitchy though. I wish it supported my audio interface (Focusrite Scarlett = super popular) so that the guitar input would be noise free. Yousican support it, so have been using that app more as a result. Happy to share more, if needed. -- Dan Pl., 2026-02-02 ### ***** "Could be better" Super hard to read the notes for feedback mode. Not as fan as other apps. Disappointed and will go to other apps -- kibamachi, 2026-01-23 ### *---- "Confusing Billing" I hadn’t use the app in a while. After changing email address there was no way for me to sign in and recover my account. Now I can’t cancel. I can’t renew. And I can’t access the app even though I have an active subscription. -- Grifter999, 2026-01-17 ### *---- "Subscription problems" Used the app for a year and got some use out of it but felt there were better options else where so I tried to cancel my subscription. It charged me the next year even though I ensured I canceled my plan and just recent got charged again for a second time. Really annoying. -- gogo 987654321098, 2026-01-16 ### ***** "I recommend this app" I’ve only just started at nine years old and I have a acoustic guitar I got for Christmas 2025 and I’d say fender is a really good app for learning how to play guitar especially for whenever you’re pretty young like me so yeah, I’d say five stars really good app And I recommend it. -- Lava king 6123, 2026-01-02 ### *---- "Not for beginners" Definitely not for beginners on an acoustic. The pace is super fast and impossible for a beginner to keep up with. -- FrustratedMI, 2025-12-29 ### *---- "Not worth it" I couldn’t even get into the app!! I HAD to pick a plan and there was no X button. So I clicked on one and nothing happened. I don’t know if this is a glitch but now I can use this app at all! If anyone knows anything about this, please help!! -- Kadee11, 2025-12-21 ### *---- "Immediately want subscription" Pay upfront cancel within X amount of days BS. I mean it’s only $150 right? No thanks. Wasted my time downloading and making account. -- notarobot..., 2025-12-17 ### *---- "Do Not Purchase" I payed for a year subscription and the app will not let me login. Be real careful subscribing to this app you might be out for $149 dollars and nothing to show for it -- Bob653h, 2025-12-07 ### ***** "Fun and user friendly experience!" As someone starting their guitar journey in their late 30s this app is extremely user friendly! It gets you playing very fast, with amazing teachers who explain the courses well. The videos are short, and it’s perfect for someone like me since I’ll spend 30 minutes after the class to really perfect what I learned -- Bouph, 2025-11-30 [View all Fender Play reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Fender Play In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | Monthly Plan | $7.99 | | Annual Plan | $44.99 | | All Access Annual Plan | $74.99 | ## Fender Play Store Rankings | Chart | Country | Category | Rank | |-------|---------|----------|------| | Top Grossing | Sweden | Education | #65 | | Top Grossing | Mexico | Education | #73 | | Top Grossing | Finland | Education | #89 | | Top Grossing | Ireland | Education | #100 | ## Fender Play Discovered Keywords -
