## Ferret Tools Reviews in United States

### *---- "Cool idea. Bunk equipment."
Used a few times and worked pretty well. Not as great as advertised. but still pretty helpful. After only 5 or 6 uses it no longer broadcasts wifi so I cannot connect to the camera
-- Mad Scientist Sound Labs, 2024-12-29

### ***** "It goes where others cannot"
We do a lot of dryer vent service where a regular chimney inspection camera is just too big to make it through the bends of most dryers in our area.

We have a lot of galvanized Sheet Metal, 4 inch duck that goes up through the wall and finds its way out through the roof and this run can be as far as 30 - 35 feet easily, although people have complained about the connectivity of this camera with the repeater attached, it works very well.

Also, I have taken a piece of coaxial cable and wrapped it around the camera, body and my cleaning rod and this is helped with this problem, however be cautious that you don’t lose the cable.

### ***** "Impressed"
The ferret camera has become my new go to inspection tool. It’s versatile, easy to use, and can go anywhere I need it too. I can watch live on my phone and take photos and videos. It goes straight to my camera roll. Enabling me to instantly send photos and videos with inspection reports.

### *---- "Worked Great Until it Didn’t."
Don’t waste your money. Originally this was a great tool but the battery life on it went to pot after 6 months. The on board lights wash the picture out. This was a neat concept that was junk the minute the decided to outsource it to china.

### ***-- "Syncing Issues Between Ferrett WIFI & My IPhone."
When it works, it works well!

I own an iPhone 6, and my son owns the Pixel-3 smartphone.

The first WIFI Inspection camera purchased was first tested using my phone, then it was given to my son, who initially experienced difficulty getting it to sync. He was able to get it to work with his phone after consulting with his technicians.

Bought a second camera recently, and tested it in a remote area, before taking it to a residence for wire retrieval, which failed horribly after several attempts.

I personally feel like the cameras WIFI syncing process might get confused when there are a number of other available WIFI accounts.
That’s the story I’m going with, because after I left that home, I went back to that remote location and it started up as if there was no problem.
