## Feyn Description
Use flashcards, spaced-repetition, and your Apple Pencil to study with Feyn!

Taking your own notes by hand and spaced-repetition are the best way to learn new concepts, and with Feyn you can do just that. Open up a book on your iPad and comfortably draw your flashcards right there using your Apple Pencil in Feyn. The flashcards are phone-sized so that you can then take them on the go and comfortably review them on your iPhone! Their vertical shape also makes them easy to write while multi-tasking on your iPad, and perfect for learning languages written top to bottom like Japanese. If you don't feel like drawing, just type some text using your keyboard or drop images into your flashcards.

In this way, you *learn* on your iPad as you think of how to you summarize new concepts into flashcards, and *memorize* on your iPhone while you review them on the go!

Feyn is fully featured, you can share flashcard to study with your friends. Your flashcards will automatically synchronize between your devices using your iCloud drive. Feyn also supports iOS' Quick Note, Handoff, and keyboard input: type away on your iPad or on our macOS app!

Feyn uses spaced repetition to aid in learning. It will ask you to review flashcards depending on how well you recall them, flashcards you miss will be asked more often, and flashcards you get right less often. This way you minimize the total time you spend studying and maximize retention!

Feyn Pro ads some nice to have extra features like study charts, to see how well you're learning, and flashcard importing. All other features are free and unrestricted. We guarantee that you will always be able to have a complete study experience for free.

## Feyn Reviews in United States

### ****- "Great but…"
I absolutely love this app in comparison to other study apps other study apps have a lot of pay to play features that I don’t enjoy having to use this app makes it simple to utilize importing images, and even drawing your own images for study cards, which has been really useful for my nursing degree. what I don’t love though is how I can’t send this to other devices that I have I would love to be able to study on my phone as well with the flashcards. I’ve already made however, every time I try to send myself my own cards. I’m unable to access my study sites on my other devices. This feature would be really useful having the ability to be able to use your cards on other devices while unable to access the device in which you made your cards on originally all in all great app, I just wish they would add a feature that would make this more accessible.
-- Baldahhbaby, 2025-07-12

### ***** "Best Flashcard App!!"
I love the ability to handwrite my cards with Apple Pencil.

It would be helpful if on the All Cards screen I could see the tags applied to each card to allow for more efficient grouping. As it is I have to take a couple of steps to see if I have tagged a card.

Thanks! Love the app!!

### ***** "Good for chem"
Nice for organic chem 🧪
-- priscilasrt, 2025-03-03

### ***** "This Is THE Best Flashcard App For Ipad"
This app is so underrated, it’s straightforward, user friendly, no ads, and no extra unnecessary fancy stuff. You can add cute pictures too. If you’re looking for a good beginner flashcard app get this one!
-- Lammy_wammy, 2025-01-26

### ***-- "Okay"
I wish there was an option to study with the reverse side showing first
-- Mayur6292, 2025-01-15

### ***** "Great, simple app"
This app does exactly what it says it does and does it well. More importantly, the developer is responsive to inquiries and very helpful. Feedback is taken seriously and necessary changes implemented quickly. Thanks for a great, simple flashcard app!
-- shanegordon, 2024-10-04

### ***** "Simple, Neat, and Helpful!"
I’ve tried other flashcard apps and I have found them way too difficult to get into. Some are locked behind a paywall, and some have a learning curve that takes hours to get over. This is the only app I found that has a clean look and can be used for free! It genuinely helps with studying and there is no annoying ads that distract you from your valuable studying time. I don’t usually pay for subscriptions, but this app definitely deserves support! The only thing I would encourage the creators to work on is a way to make an app for windows users, since it would be even more convenient to study from a computer. This is the way to go for a flashcard app!

### ***** "Love this, especially the nesting feature"
I didn’t know how to put a folder inside a folder at first, but when I found out I did, I was so happy. I love how there’s no minimum number of cards to make but is, instead, unlimited.
-- Umme R., 2024-08-26

### ****- "Simple but good app"
Feyn is a good flashcard app that works well. It does not have any fancy features but it syncs easily between my iPhone and iPad so I can review any time. It has the same writing tools as the Apple notes app.
-- Eleanor, Pro Reviewer, 2024-08-16

### ***** "Best Flash Card on IOS"
I’m really enjoying this app and its ease of use! I’m currently learning Japanese and this was the best flash card app I could find! I do have one feature request: I would love to see one of two things 1. be able to flip cards permanently. that way i can duplicate and then flip them. 2. be able to study cards where i see the back first. this will save me some time, since i’m currently doing double the work!

Update: found a way to do this after posting this review. tap and hold on the folder -> settings -> Question Side -> Back
