Fidelity advisors are licensed with Strategic Advisers LLC (Strategic Advisers), a registered investment adviser, & registered with Fidelity Brokerage Services LLC (FBS), a registered broker-dealer. Whether a Fidelity advisor provides advisory services through Strategic Advisers for a fee or brokerage services through FBS will depend on the products & services you choose.

Fidelity Investments Reviews

Getting better. Please add back the notes feature

MMM12356789 on

I’m getting used to the new release and it’s getting better. Please add back the notes feature. It used to allow you to add notes to a stock and you would see it in portfolio and in watch list. It’s an essential feature to track one’s reasoning over time.

Very good app

Easy to use and tells me all I want to know about my 401k. The interactive chart is cool if somewhat depressing when the Dow is down.

Broken and Scammy

Sk7691 on

They’ll make it as cumbersome and painful as possible to withdraw any money once it’s in your brokerage account. They wouldn’t allow me to transfer to my account and routing number and forced me to use a tool that makes you enter your actual bank account username and password (the one you’re transferring to). This would give them access to all of your transaction history on that account… Too bad it didn’t work, the linking tool locked out my other bank account so now I need to fix that account with my actual bank AND they still haven’t linked it to my actual bank so my money is still in their hands. If you use Fidelity, get ready to lose access to whatever you deposit…

No way to view account performance?

alinarc on

I do not understand why this app doesn’t include a way to view overall account market gains/losses without the impact of deposits??? For invest accounts specifically. My other invest account with ally bank has this feature and I don’t understand why fidelity doesn’t

Does not display how it is on Fidelity.com

The software can be buggy

Annoying update - skip if you can wait

Msmith6968 on

Tearranged the portfolio views for no good reason and the option to rearrange the layout does not save, so you have to redo the settings every time you use the app. Super annoying to change things just for the sake of changing things. If it ain’t broke, don’t go fixin it. Well now it’s broke!

Too long to log in

What happened to fingerprint or face recognition to open the app? Takes way too long and not convenient. Please update.

Unhelpful

jkraby on

I’ve had to call fidelity on a few occasions because the app does not provide vital information. They always tell me to look at the desktop version and not pay attention to the app. What’s the point of having an app then in the first place? It doesn’t really tell you much….. thinking of putting my money elsewhere.
