## FidelityHOME Description
Own your home WiFi with the FidelityHOME app. Configure, diagnose and optimize your home network, direct from your smart device, without ever having to call for tech support.

*** The app works in conjunction with supported Hitron gateways and an internet subscription with Fidelity Communications. The app will not be able to login if your device is not connected to the Hitron gateway. *** 
 
Overview: Direct access to your network’s most important details, such as connected devices and troubleshooting alerts. 
  
Speed Test: Validate not only the speed of your broadband connection, but also directly to your device. If facing a slow-down, you can easily determine the cause. 
  
My Devices: Review all devices connected to your network, from phones and tablets to smart TVs and thermostats.  
 
My WiFi: Don’t remember your WiFi password? Easily change it or share it with your guests.  
Troubleshoot: Is your WiFi password perhaps a bit too simple or your encryption not strong enough?  

Are some devices in your home suffering from slow speeds? FidelityHOME & your gateway automatically review potential performance and security issues and will guide you through the step-by-step resolution process.

Speed test always fails.  Can’t connect to modem is the standard with this app.  I mean really?  Super big tech company can’t have a decent functioning app to monitor and help with internet/modem problems.  And tech support?   Well it’s best to just plug and unplug cause that is all they tech department will tell you to do.

Fidelity and FidelityHOME were great. For years AT&T was my only option. The second I could jump ship for Fidelity Communications, I took it. 

This app was amazing. Then, the updates to our connection came. Internet connection into our home was spotty at best, and down for hours at worse. “It’ll be better. We’re putting in Fiber. Here is a brand new modem that will support it!”

Oops, sorry, connection is still worse than it was before the upgrade AND the app that controls our modem that we assured you would still be compatible (ahem, this one)? Well, it’s not.

Sad day when you actually realize you’d like to switch to AT&T.

I’m able to use this app on occasion but majority of the time it doesn’t connect to my modem unless I constantly restart my modem which doesn’t make sense. When I can use it I like having the feature to be able to change your username and password, or block unknown devices from using your wifi.
