Field Museum for All Reviews

This app is to help people with varying abilities navigate the Field

It looks like people are confused about the function and purpose of this app which is to help people that have mobility/sensory and verbal/auditory special needs. There’s a sensory friendly map that shows quiet areas. There’s communication prompts and a planning guide to map out your trip. I think it’s great for attending with little kids or anyone neurodivergent. Kudos to the Field for this app helping people with all abilities enjoy their visit.

Nothing useful

Given how incredible the Institute of Art’s app-based tour was, I had high hopes. This app provided nothing useful for an average out of town visitor - not sure what of use is being made “accessible for all”.

No ability to buy tickets in the app. App just links to a website where you have to enter your personal information over and over again, even for Field Museum members.

I got this app because I thought I would be able to enter my membership info in my profile. Art Institute of Chicagp app has this and it is great to just show my phone and enter without rooting through my wallet. Disappointed

I really like your app and seeing it in person. I will come back soon to see more great stuff there with my family and friends.

Hard to locate exhibits

We were looking for the large paintings of dinosaurs and prehistoric life created by Charles R Knight and it was impossible to find them on the app
