## Fieldpiece Job Link Reviews in United States

### ****- "Misplaced again"
New update idea? Include where your phone last connected to them or an alert when the disconnect unintentionally. I can’t tell you how many time I’ve left my air temp probes at a job.
-- ZipRschniztel, 2024-12-07

### *---- "Know your audience."
We are in the field. It’s midnight. The walk-in cooler is down. I have my service bag and want to check my pressures. Open the app; Ive used many times before… please create an account. Minor inconvenience maybe but not when it ° outside and it’s hard enough to scroll through the screen now I have to type my info in. And it’s not compatible with whatever system Apple uses to log you in quick, you have to hopefully remember your info for this junk app and then type in. Cherry on top if there’s no service you can’t even proceed to the screen to obtain reading. Airplane mode or not. I see fieldpiece replying airplane mode should fix this issue BUT IT DOES NOT. I tried the appion tools their app is 100% better but the tools are not. Might try testo or something. Review updated 12/1/24 Still no improvement
-- ChooseANicknameForYourReviews2, 2024-12-01

### **--- "Just buy a manifold"
App drops randomly when you don’t have service rendering these thing useless. And they don’t give you a charging adapter when you buy it thus even checking pressures is useless unless you have another tool not included. JUST BUY A MANIFOLD
-- Rello828, 2024-10-24

### *---- "Only if it is your only option"
You would think that, for the price of the tool, you would get a reliable way to use it.
This app only works if you login. And you can’t login without clear internet connection. So, if you work in crawlspaces or attics where actual HVAC equipment resides, be prepared to be left hanging high and dry sometimes. Don’t get me wrong. It works sometimes very okay-ish. But, end of the day, a hundred miles from the shop, and you need to be able to check gas pressure… NO DICE!
-- Actual Field tech, 2024-10-21

### *---- "Gauges good, app horrible"
I’ve never used an app scummy enough to ask for notification permission EVERY SINGLE TIME you open the app, if I say no the first time keep it that way. the worse part about this app is needing to connect online for Bluetooth gauges. When you have a weak internet connection the app will sit on the logo screen FOREVER and when it can’t connect it logs you out making your perfectly good gauges useless! I put my phone in airplane mode every time before opening the app to avoid all the garbage I mentioned before. I love fieldpiece gauges but when my pair die I’m never buying them again because I never want to interact with this app again!
-- RASHAD433, 2024-10-11

### *---- "App is ok when it wants to work"
App does not open without internet.
-- 239 BJ, 2024-10-04

### ***-- "HVAC service tech"
The service app seems to work pretty good overall except when you have week to zero cell phone service or data connection the app just doesn’t work or log anything on your phone temporarily which makes it really difficult to use wireless probes or screenshot things for debriefs to my dispatches Even if we use their paid service or subscription it would be impossible due to the lack of data connectivity in the rural areas
-- the kid that works, 2024-10-02

### *---- "Mandatory Notifications!"
Don’t update to new software! Every time you open it up a mandatory notification sign pops up now! No way to turn it off until you comply.
-- Gif viewer, 2024-09-15

### *---- "Not great"
Constantly wants notifications… buggy, logs you out of the app constantly. Have to restart the phone in order to use Bluetooth tools! I would avoid using Bluetooth only apps as it can be incredibly time consuming to use these tools that require the app! Login should not be required and notifications are unnecessary and shouldn’t be constantly nagged to turn them on! Stating Notifications are unnecessary probably means I refuse to allow notifications and share location data. The right answer is that they should stop asking for those unnecessary features to be allowed.
Also, app is useless in areas of no cellular/wifi… it renders these expensive tools paper weights. Never again!
-- Ghhjnvgyjj, 2024-09-14

### *---- "It doesn’t work."
Oh you want to do a decay test better not have your phone auto lock or have the micron gauge auto off. Oops you answered a text while using the app? Too bad it forgot everything and you need to restart. Junk.
