Even after turning on notifications for this app, it DID NOT inform me before charging me for a WHOLE YEAR of subscription. When I asked to get a refund they sent me to Apple, which does not grant refunds for subscriptions and merely canceled the subscription AFTER IT EXPIRES. So I’m out $65. 

Downloaded for low FODMAP and the app wasn’t even helpful. It refers you to another app for clearer guidance. Waste of money and time.

I bought a candy that had no allergen labeling. I scanned it with the app and found out it had multiple undeclared allergens; basically Fig saved me from a reaction. My only complaint is that there's limited scans per month and I don't want to pay to keep being safe.

This app is amazing and so helpful! I love the scanning and how it updates with new items from the specific store I go to and the new restaurant part of app for CO is nice to see that there some restaurants I can go to! I recommend this app to anyone that’s struggling with  IBS or has to do low fodmap it will be a lifesaver! ☺️

This app has helped me so much in finding foods my child with allergies can eat. Navigating the world of food allergies a challenge but this app has made it a bit easier…. Also it’s totally worth the cost. The allergy community isn’t huge so let’s support each other!

I used fig when it first came out and I liked it but didn’t use it to much. Now that my stomach issues are back again I decided to try the app again and was excited to see they had the scanning feature. Well when I opened the app I saw that it’s a monthly subscription now. I already have to deal with stomach issues and doctors visits, I don’t want to have to pay more money to use an app I may only use when I’m grocery shopping once a week.

There’s no option to avoid a subscription! You are forced into a free trial in order to use any aspect of this app, which tells me it’s useless without a subscription. 
“Try” our free trial. No option to say no, so I’m out! Deleted immediately when I saw that.

I don’t think this app should be a monthly subscription. At most i think they could charge for the app itself but a monthly fee when having food allergies is already so expensive just feels wrong.
