Best Character Sheet App
Small learning curve, but the best character sheet app I’ve ever seen. All the relevant rules and rolls right at your fingertip.

Fightclub is a great source of dnd information, building characters, customizing monsters, all for free! (One exception but I’ll get to that in a bit) you need to download files of info onto the app, which can easily be found online. You can make one character that is stored on Fightclub for free, or pay only 2.99$ to be able to make as many characters of you want! It’s a one time purchase too. I’ve been using it for awhile now, and I’ve encountered no glitches, or bugs, and I haven’t noticed any other issues either. The app is also very easy to use! After downloading it, it took me about 20 seconds to figure out how to use it. For making characters, that took me a bit to figure out, not that I didn’t understand how it worked, but the way it is constructed was new and a bit intimidating, but after I made one, I wanted to make more. When it comes to making characters, the app is very freeform about it, so it’s up to the creator to stay within the rules, but that also means that nothing is left out. Honestly, I think that fightclub is better than say, DNDBEYOND. This is just my personal opinion, and DNDBEYOND definitely had more features like maps and campaigns, but fightclub is cheaper and costs nothing to make one character with all of the options, if you have the file. I say try both and see what works for you!
I’ve used this app for probably around 8 years now and it’s always just been the best. Yes, initial setup may be a bit finicky because the dev can legally only add the SRD, but there are plenty of online resources for adding in all of the remaining official material. Even before I studied any coding, I was able to transcribe over full homebrew classes, spells, etc. It can definitely take a bit of time, but it’s also very simple. Since the files are just XML files, you need next to no knowledge about coding to add in your own material. It’s very easy to write your own files and add them in with just simple copy/pasting by using pre-existing files as a template. I’ve used this app to create hundreds of characters over the years and I’m sure I’ll create hundreds more with it in the future.
It’s an amazing app but when you make too much stuff and try to save it, it crashes I hope we can get this fixed cause I’ve been using this app for a while and prefer to keep using but theirs a few things that need to be fixed.
Sick
Literally flawless. By far the happiest I’ve ever been with any application I’ve ever downloaded. I could not possibly be more please. I look forward to the integration of more 5e books!
I am able to create custom items and spells. Am able to plug in other things too.
I have used a variety of apps, services, and tools for character building in dnd 5e. None of them have come close to the sheer usability of Fight Club 5e. The Compendium means you can fill your available resources with every official, unofficial, and homebrew option there is if you want to, and can share what you’ve accumulated with others. It is beyond useful, and buying the premium version is worth it not for the extra character slots, but purely because it is worth the options provided by the app. I do agree with keeping it free, though. I just encourage anyone who is able to to buy the premium option because the app is worth the price.
Just like the title says it’s truly a great app! It helps with so many niche things that cannot only help the DM but also the player! It is just in severe need of small bug fixes! Example 1( when adding racial stat modifiers to a race that you were adding to the compendium, they will not always appear where they are supposed to, if appearing at all) Example 2(after setting a character profile picture and logging out of the app upon logging back in the character profile. Pictures are all gone.) all very small problems but quality of life is key when dealing with RPG‘s and to have any sort of player data or numbers moved around unwilling/unknowingly can completely change an entire character set up.. I’ve continued to use the app and have even purchased the full version and absolutely love it. Just wish that we could get a quality of life update on some of the smaller issues.
The title says most of it. This is one of the most straightforward and user-friendly TTRPG phone apps I’ve ever used. My sole complaint comes in when I make a mistake or want to make a revision. Say I make a Ranger, and decide partway through that I want to swap one subclass for another. It’s easier to just delete a character and start over than to manually enter the features I wish to change. That I haven’t figured out a better way to do this is my sole complaint about this app, and having only one complaint says a lot about the quality and ease of use this app possesses.
