I have been using the program for several years. Definitely the best program for handling files.
The interface is overloaded with unnecessary functions. Also illogical layout of settings, no system!
Edit: Sometimes the app just keeps crashing when just viewing the files on my cameras’ SD card. Can’t use the app to copy or view the files then, obviously. Have to change my review to 1 star because the app is unusable because of that. The app also seems to struggle creating thumbnails for RAW images. Sometimes it happens really fast and other times you have to open the picture to fullscreen for it to create the thumbnail. That doesn’t always work either. For when the app is working I would like to be able to select files by swiping on them like in the Files app. Would make selecting hundreds of files a lot faster. Currently you have to tap on each and every last one to select multiple when you don’t want to select all. It takes a long time and lots of effort. Another method could be to select all files starting from a file of a certain file name and then select that and for example all newer files after that. Original review: I was getting scared that my plan of being able to use my iPad Pro to backup my images on a roadtrip wouldn’t work, but this app solved the problem I was having. The Files app would corrupt multiple images when copying just 100 images to an external SSD and I’m relieved to see that none were corrupted when I copied over 800 files using this app. Disappointed in the speed of copying though. Everything is USB 3.1 all the way to my USB-C SSD enclosure so there should be plenty of bandwidth, just for some reason it took more than double as long to copy the files from iPad’s internal storage to the USB attached SSD as it did to copy from my memory card reader to the iPad storage. Also wondering why it isn’t possible to use multiple USB attached disks at the same time. I would ideally like to copy straight to my SSD from my memory card, but I guess this is a reasonable workaround, at least for now. Hoping to see that feature in the future.
The title says it all. I went through a few apps before I found this hidden gem. Highly recommended!
